This review is not about the teachers, who are professional and dedicated, but about the administration’s poor communication, lack of respect, and overall negative environment. The teachers do their best with the kids, but even they seem to struggle under the management’s harsh policies. It’s an unhappy place for both parents and staff. A mistake occurred with my tuition payment, and despite multiple emails requesting a resolution, their responses were unhelpful. They ignored my calls when they saw my number, even though they provide phone contact details, and refused to let me speak with the school owners. It feels like the owners are completely disconnected, hidden in the shadows, unaware of what’s really happening. When I asked to escalate my concerns to them directly, I was flat-out denied. Why is it not okay to talk to the superiors? Parents should have a voice. I also constantly worry that if a teacher is absent, one of the harsh administrators will step in to supervise the class, which is not reassuring. Their approach lacks warmth, and everything is handled in an overly rigid, impersonal manner. After many failed attempts to resolve my concerns, I had no choice but to share my experience here. I truly hope the owners read this and take the time to call me so I can explain all the mistakes and issues firsthand.

Off the charts!!! It is the best balance of everything without the pressure that tends to accompany many top performance schools. The teachers have a collective wide range of experience, including diverse emphasis and experiences to offer and some with masters degrees. Some schools focus on immersion, but if your child didn’t start by kindergarten or first grade, they will struggle and may not even have a chance for that line of education. Perhaps one did have an immersion education, but without other aspects, such as technology, art, or music programs of any significance, or with pressure to excel that overwhelms children. Perhaps they can attend an immersion school, but only learn one foreign language. At AmeriMont, one doesn’t have to start by kindergarten to truly grasp foreign language; one doesn’t have to choose a single foreign language; and one doesn’t have to choose between languages, STEM, music, art, and academics. It is all here & it’s all included in one price!!!! At our old school, “STEM” was just a once-in-awhile extracurricular activity that was limited to a certain number of students and which incurred an added cost. Here, it is included in the curriculum and there are also after school extracurricular STEM activities offered. Here, not only is there a music program with a separate teacher with a masters degree in music, but the children learn to read & write music; they learn vocals, instrumental, and music theory, and they get to perform and learn to play the piano - all included in the tuition!!! Technology is in every aspect of the curriculum and it’s own subject, too. The “blessing and curse” is that this is a hidden gem. We love the small class size, we like that our child is soaring and heads above our local school district and surrounding faith-based schools; but we know that more people need to know about this school, because it truly is the best of everything and we think the more who know and join, the more it will thrive, especially because they will not let class size go above 20 students, more likely not above 18. This school offers the best of academics without the pressure; arts & music; technology; character; project based learning; 21st Century; global awareness (I think it’s on par with IB schools even though it does not have such an affiliation at this time). No more space, but I could go on & on.

Excellent! The owners truly care and routinely seek parent input/advice to create the best environment for students to learn and grow. As a new school, the administration is looking to expand all grade levels. My son is currently in Kindergarten and will be in 1st grade next year. Compared to public school and other private schools in the area, the student to teacher ratio can't be beat and the tuition is reasonable. Although my son is in Kindergarten, his proficiency in Math and Reading is at a grade 2 level. Highly recommend this school to any family looking for results!

This school is the best kept secret! It is truly a family oriented environment with high academic and character standards. The children are always smiling and so happy to come to school. Definitely worth checking out this new school.

AmeriMont Academy is a school that I would highly recommend. Our son attended AmeriMont Academy back in 2004 and is now a 13 year old in Middle School with all honors classes and excellent grades. I have now returned with our 3 1/2 year old son and Ms. Arilda the Director is still there! The teachers and Ms. Arilda are wonderful. Everyone is so helpful and always addresses any questions or concerns. You feel like you can call anytime and will always be greeted with a warm and friendly smile!~ Also, WebCam, need I say more!

My son attends AmeriMont Academy full time. AmeriMont Academy a "life altering" experience for me and my son. I enroll him during a very hard time in my life which I imagine had a very huge emotional impact on my son. The teachers & staff took time to understand his needs and managed to help put some "normalcy" in his days. After our move to Fountain Valley, I was willing to commute back & forth just because I wanted him to continue attending AmeriMont. The teachers are very patient & more importantly DEDICATED.

Caring teachers, all around great staff. Our 4 year old and 2 year old have been going to Amerimont for coming up on 6-months now; both of them enjoy going to school. THe 4 year old is quickly learning and we've seen his vocabulary, math, counting, letters, etc. improve by leaps and bounds. Would highly recommend this school for any parent in the neighborhood.

Since my son started at Amerimont last year, we have been happy with our decision. He enjoys going to school and is learning a lot. The teachers and director are loving and caring. The school has a positive environment that promotes both learning and social skills. We are looking forward to sending our younger son in September.

My child's school is AmeriMont Academy. My son has been attending the school for about 1 year now. He transitioned from another Montessori where he was miserable, at the beginning of each day he would cry and not want to go to school. Since we switched to AmeriMont, from day one, he has been happy. The teachers and directors are incredible. Everyone knows his name and is always willing to help and ease his fears. Academics is top notch. My son has been coming home and teaching me sign language.

A wonderful school with nurturing and safe environment AMA has been providing great preschool experience to our 5 year old daughter. We recently started sending her 2 year old brother to AMA as well. The school provides good education, plenty of independent work time, extracurricular activities. The teachers are caring and responsive to the needs of every child. Ms. Arilda , the school director is awesome. I feel comfortable voicing my concerns to her or asking any questions.

My son has attended Amerimont Academy for the past three years and has flourished under the guidance of the teachers and director at the school. Amerimont provides a warm, caring and safe environment that has brought the best out in my son. He used to be shy and reserved. Now he is confident and very social. With the building blocks established by Amerimont over the past three years, he has also excelled academically and has lots of fun learning still.

Amerimont has been a great school for my kids to grow, They've been there for a few years and have really done well there. I am amazed at how advanced they are over kids their age. The teaching and skills they've gained at AmeriMont will give them the advantage. Not only that but they love their teachers and always want to wave buy or give them a hug on the way out. i would highly recommend this school to anyone.

AmeriMont Academy is a great school and our daughter loves it. It amazes me how much she has learned in just over a year. The faculty and staff are nurturing, well-qualified, and really care that the students are exposed to all different types and methods of teaching.

Amerimont Academy is absolutely what the doctor recommends for any parent thats just stressed out about childcare. After a horrid experience, the ladies at this school quickly eased my fears and concerns. I drop my son off, and I am just at peace and happy. I think that a parent feeling satisfied at the place they drop their kids off at, is equally important as how much fun they have while learning, growing and developing the fundmentals of life. I love this place!

I absolutely LOVE this school! My six year old graduated kindergarten last year and my three year old currently attends the Eagles class at Amerimont Academy! He started in the Firecrackers class at the age of two and the teachers were extremely loving and attentive. All of the teachers are wonderful and the Director is incredibly kind and compassionate! They also provide a strong academic curriculum....My son was reading at the third grade level when he graduated kindergarten!

We are transplants from the East Coast and had one week last year to find a good school for our son prior to moving. We looked at several and came back to AMA. They were so understanding of the difficult transition our son, who was 3 at the time, was going through with such a huge life change - new house, new school, new everything, no friends or family near us. We could not have asked for a better more loving and caring environment for him. He has flourished at AMA and everyone who comes to visit us is amazed at how much he is learning and growing there. He sideswipes me with states and capitols that I am ashamed to say I don't even know/remember!! The teachers are great and the director is very involved and responds to all correspondence, questions, etc. quickly. A great place for an excellent preschool education!

Amerimont has exceeded any and all my expectations. Both of my boys have gone to Amerimont (one is still there) and they are so advanced compared to other kids their age, it is amazing. Not only do they learn their ABC's and 123's they also learn about behaviors such as kindness, trust and determination. This school is the whole package: teachers that care, a fun environment with a complete curriculum and a director who knows all the kids and parents by name. Amerimont has been a second home for my boys.
