We just moved to Ammon this yr and my son absolutely hates this school he gets bullied all the time and is depressed and never wants to go to school anymore so we called the principal several times to get it taken care of and nothing gets done he basically says there is nothing he can do except tell my son to stay away from them. This school is a joke and the principal doesn't care about the students at all

Ever since Mr. Keller was transferred to another school, this school has gone down the drain (putting it nicely)!! The current principal, Mr. Murdock, does not care about the students or what they need to succeed. And he definitely does NOT care to listen to the parent when they come to him with a problem that can be VERY easily fixed. Instead, you get ignored and then told nothing can be done. Mr. Keller was a MUCH better principal for the school and for the children!!

Ammon is an outstanding elementary school. The secret to it's warm community feel is simple; an outstanding principal. Mr Keller knows the name of every child, and interacts with the kids all through the day. Test scores only tell part of Ammons story, they could be higher, but Mr Keller has volunteered to host several special needs classrooms at our school. His commitment to each and every child is what makes our school worth more than just the sum of standardized tests.
