We recently moved to Idaho Falls from a city with overall much better public schools than there are here. We were looking for a challenging but nurturing environment for our child. Luckily, we met someone who recommended we look at SRMS. It has been great. There are a dozen kids to a teacher and everyone we've met is very dedicated. The community is very welcoming and diverse. Each child works at their own pace (with encouragement and guidance from the teachers) but there is structure and regular touch points for testing, so you can see how the kids are progressing, but they are not being taught to the test. Kids learn to be responsible and learn own their own. From what I've seen, the students are generally ahead of their peers when they move into other schools. There is also convenient extended day care for before and after work and on many vacations. I highly recommend any parents who value high quality, child-focused education to consider this school.

My school is Snake River Montessori School and as a parent I feel so lucky and grateful that my girls have the opportunity to begin their education at a place that instills a love to learning and curiosity. Having experienced both internationals public and private schools as well as American public, charter and private schools, I'm proud to say that the educational standards, level of teacher/child and child/child respect as well as programs and the facility at SRMS is top notch. The teachers are compassionate, knowledgeable and maintain beautiful order in their classrooms. The children respond harmoniously with the routine and are able to accomplish more in a school day, sort out peer issues at a more mature level and achieve goals more than I've seen in traditional classrooms. The art program is fantastic! As in is a smaller school, most of the extra curricular activities are limited but the parent community works hard with the teachers to provide supplemental learning opportunities outside the daily academic routine.

My granddaughter attends Snake River Montessori School and I have had the opportunity to visit and volunteer a few times. The teachers in pre K are wonderful. They instruct the children with kindness, teaching them responsibility and respect for the materials and each other. My granddaughter loves school and looks forward to going. I am thankful her first school experience is such a great one.

This is a fabulous school. The teacher snad staff are very organized and talented. Our kids are excelling in every academic area as well as respect and courtesy.

We were encouraged to observe a classroom almost 12 years ago and the Snake River Montessori School has been part of our lives ever since. We have two children who are thriving very well in middle school and high school and much of their success can be attributed to the exceptional foundation they achieved at SRMS. The teachers, staff and community are excellent. It will be hard to say goodbye when our youngest finishes 6th grade next year. We are very thankful for this education option in the Idaho Falls area.

My grandsons, age 7 and 10, attend Snake River Montessori School. I am always amazed at the quality of the education they are receiving. SRMS provides an outstanding environment for learning, and it is well rounded. Math, Sciences, Literacy (reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension), Social Sciences, History, Arts, Humanities, Life Skills and more. Both grandsons love learning and going to school at SMRS. Teachers and staff are dedicated and inspiring. It is a committed community of teachers, staff, parents and children creating an extraordinary learning environment., and it really shows in the children!

My daughter has attended Snake River Montessori for two years. The curriculum is stimulating and her experiences have been positive in every area. I am thankful for the teachers and their dedication and passion for teaching.

Snake River is no doubt the best school in the area. Our son attended another Montessori school in the area, and there is no comparison, Snake River is the best! I would encourage anyone to check out the school, they will be impressed. The teachers are extraordinary and staff are awesome. Our son loves the school and is excited everyday to go to school. What more could a parent ask for?

SRMS has been highly beneficial for my nephews by providing them with a strong framework to learn, grow, and explore their own interests and inclinations. I never hear them complain about school. The boys are excited about their lessons, and are anything but passive learners. They seek activities and interactions that stimulate their minds and bodies in positive ways. I do not see the same stifled minds that I see in kids who do not have the advantages SRMS offers. The kids have life experiences and field trips that extend beyond the classroom, as well. Great work!

We been affiliated with this school a couple years now and couldn't be happier. The faculty is top notch and seemingly always available. The community involved with the school is extraordinarily active and makes the entire experience very fulfilling. The school is continually evolving to meet the needs of our children and surprises me all the time with ingenuity, creativity, and methodology. I have zero doubt this is the finest education for my children in this area and would recommend Snake River Montessori to anyone.

SRMS is a wonderful school that creates a wonderful learning environment for a wide spectrum of students. The teachers are great and my kids always love going to school. The learning environment has fostered self-sufficiency and personal accountability in my kids. I would recommend this school to anyone.

My son attends Snake River Montessori School and we could not be any more pleased. The teachers and staff do a wonderful job and it's clear they are involved in education for all the right reasons. I think the best option for kids in the Idaho Falls/Ammon region.

My grandson attends Snake River Montessori and I am amazed at how much the students are learning at such an early age. The teachers are truly dedicated and inspiring. I have volunteered when visiting from out of town and have witnessed firsthand how these teachers are training our children to be responsible, well-mannered, and definitely well educated.

Snake River Montessori is a wonderful school and my child has been very fortunate to attend the past two years and for a third year starting this fall. Our daughter spent 8 years there (kindergarten and grades 1-6) and now has study habits that will assure success in college. The staff is involved and concerned, parents are expected and do participate in school activities and daily functions, and the students are challenged and guided by a caring professional staff. I highly recommend Snake River Montessori and we would certainly send our daughter there again if we had to do it over.

We really love our school. They staff is diverse and friendly. I believe it is the right place for any kid . Whether you have a gifted child or a child with disabilities, this the school for you. Teachers are happy to be here as well. Parents are involved. Overall great learning environment.

Snake River Montessori School is a "hidden gem" in the Idaho Falls/Ammon community. The education my 2 children have received has really set the foundation for a lifetime of learning. They are well prepared to deal with and cope with most situations due to their ability to think critically about issues and to question until they understand. There is a sense of community among the parents and the teaching staff and Administrative Director are well trained and are dedicated to teaching the kids. I can't think of any other school in Idaho Falls/Ammon that I would trust to provide a quality education to my children.
