I wish that I could say something positive about this school because the TEACHERS are AMAZING! However, the administration (this includes the Curriculum Support Teacher) are the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. It is very upsetting because the teachers are amazing, but the admin will talk behind your back. I have attended so many meetings where the CST has talked about other staff members negatively. You may have the AP email you on weekends telling you about "rumors" that involve you. If you are an aspiring teacher, DO NOT WORK HERE! The communication between the teachers and admin is horrible. You will do everything right, however, always be in the wrong. What I've found, is this school ruins great teachers. Mostly due to the micromanaging and unprofessionalism that has plagued this school. I could write an autobiography of everything I have experienced. I will leave it at this; this is the worst place I have ever worked at and if you are an aspiring teacher about to work here, RUN WHILE YOU CAN!

We have had the best experience at Creek View. The special education support is amazing, and the TAG classes are great as well. Everyone is met at their own level and is helped to achieve their highest potential. The principal is so nice, but is still able to run a tight ship. I’ve been impressed with all the teachers my kids have had and all of the staff I’ve interacted with. I especially love the counselor. I feel so grateful my kids get to spend their elementary years here!

Horrible experience. Withdrew my son halfway into his 1st grade year. The principal is awful, rude and needs to be replaced.

I have no clue why this website deleted my review after I carefully reviewed the guidelines prior to posting. But since that is the case, I will say that I DO NOT recommend this school to any parent who cares about their child’s well being and education. The (assistant principal) of Creek view Elementary is extremely passive aggressive, and rude. I went to into detail in my last email on why I say this, but since it got taken down I’ll just leave it at that. Also the car pool drop off and pick up is by the far the most disorganized I’ve ever seen. You can arrive 20 minutes early, and they still make you check your child in late while cutting you off 2-3 minutes before the bell even rings.

I've had two kids at Creek View Elementary and the experience has been nothing less than stellar. My daughter is currently enrolled there and she is happy, is advancing well and loves her teachers. The school staff is extremely friendly and the children and parents are all a pleasure to be around. I couldn't ask for a better school and environment to raise my kids in.

My son has been a student at Creek View Elementary for two full years. In that time we’ve had very limited opportunities to get to know the teaching staff outside of once-per-semester video conferences. This has been disappointing as we transferred from a private school where, despite the pandemic, the staff went to lengths to connect with the parents. That said, I am not completely unimpressed with Creek View - for the most part, academics seem to be in line with expectations for the fifth grade. I like the focus on math and history, both have been areas where my son has developed a deep interest.Where the school fails miserably is around logistics, specifically those related to morning drop-off. I don’t believe facilities are being utilized efficiently to enable cars to quickly move in and out of the parking lot. It is common to wait 20+ minutes in a line that spills way out onto the adjoining road, slowly advancing toward the small drop zone and watching the clock. At 7:38, all cars are directed to a tiny parking lot and parents must walk students inside for manual check in. That line can take 20-30 minutes to get through. So some mornings, the entire drop off process can take 45 minutes door-to-door, which is maddening because we live less than one mile away. The principal is unwilling to discuss alternatives to the current approach and seems unaffected by the unnecessary stress her plan puts on parents and teachers. After reading some of the other comments here, I think it is clear that she is the root of many problems at Creek View.Next we will go to middle school and gladly put Creek View in the “rear view mirror”. My experience with drop off at Webb Bridge Middle School has been completely different - the process there has clearly been studied and improved. My advice on Creek View is to avoid it until they’ve addressed logistics and staff morale issues.

Creek View is a wonderfully high achieving school. The staff is (mostly) wonderful and extremely hard working. The problem is, staff is micromanaged to the point where it is impossible for teachers to do their job. They are not treated well and burn out happens quickly. The staff turnover rate is astronomical making every year a struggle in the beginning to quickly teach new teachers how the school runs. Recently Fulton County Schools announced that teachers will no longer get a paid lunch break and will have to stay 30 minutes extra as a result. Now with COVID and many gaps in staffing, teachers will have to cover student lunches during their unpaid lunch. Teachers are not respected at this school, and I fear the students’ education will soon start to suffer as a result. The teachers are amazing and dedicated, but they can only take so much.

If you are reading this review as a prospective employee, I’d skip out on this one. I wish I’d have known how miserable so mant of the teachers are there before I accepted a position. Immediately, I realized the school’s climate was not a positive one and one I could not mentally bear with for my own personal health. No job is worth feeling worthless. The principal made me feel bullied to the point of which I had to leave the school entirely. Directions were always unclear, but of course it is everyone else’s fault. I am not sure why I became a target, but it did not help that I was one of the only fully African American certified teachers at the school, if not the only. This school nearly killed my spirit for teaching, but luckily I was able to move on elsewhere to somewhere that supports my growth and passion in the field of education. I suggest you skip this one out should you be offered a position—unless you like working 12 hours a day and feeling defeated daily.

To say I’m impressed with Creekview would be an understatement. I can't believe it's a public school sometimes. I emailed the principle a couple of days ago because I was concern with the kids' mental health due to COVID because they would cry and throw tantrums more often than they used to and they don't want to do their school assignments. She called me back yesterday, and she sent out an email last night to all the parents with a plan for social emotional learning for the kids. I’m thankful for the school’s quick response to issues and caring for our children’s emotional needs as well as academic. All the teachers and administrators at Creekview have been amazing in our 3 years here.

Good values but very low learning and progress. Principal is more social oriented and worries more about grades than learning.

Our experience has been great! It is obvious the teachers are highly-qualified and the administration works hard to lead and support the teachers so they can provide the best for the students. The administration sets high expectations without losing sight of teaching the whole child.

The teachers are doing their best, but the admin is awful! They bully the teachers and tear them down constantly. You can tell how unhappy the entire faculty is by the demeanor and the high teacher turn over. Please get Monica In out of the educational system!

Terrible. Could have been a great school if not for the principal. Don’t understand why the district doesn’t see it.

My daughter has been attending CVES for the past several years and we are very happy with her progress. Teachers are very well qualified and friendly. My daughter loves to go to CVES everyday. I highly recommend CVES.

This school goes above and beyond for the students. Great programs available and the teachers are very involved and communicate great!

The teachers are good. The new administration does not care about the teachers or the students. The climate of the school has changed dramatically.

Teachers have a sincere desire to help but they're out of their depth. You really need to work to get your child assigned to the right teachers as the gap between the good ones and bad ones is enormous.

My son went to this school for 1/2 of 1st grade and all of 2nd grade. It was a terrible experience. From start to finish. The staff, principle and teachers do not have any care or regard for students who need additional support. The teachers my son had bullied him in so many it ways it was just horrible. The 2nd grade teachers my son had were friends since high school and tag teamed against my son every chance they got. I also noticed that the teacher and principle treated parents and students of foreign ethnicity very different from others. Overall I would never recommend this school.

Excellent school- my daughter is studying in this school, the teachers are very knowledgable and principal gets into details, she is best.
