Everything about Ocee is amazing! We transferred in from a horrid situation in a surrounding county and the staff and teachers at Ocee have been nothing short of amazing!! Our son had several needs due to being behind and they have jumped in and given us everything we could have possibly asked for and more. They also make sure that we understand and are comfortable with any decisions or recommendations that they make/suggest. I could go on and on, but if you are looking for an awesome environment surrounded by people who truly care-Ocee is your answer!!Also…Ms. Human is heaven sent!!! There are no words to even begin to describe nor explain just how amazing she is!!

Ocee is a great school. It has strong academic programs and family engagement. The Kindergarten and First grade teachers have been top notch and are easy to talk to. I always know what is happening at school with flyers, emails & newsletters. I am happy with the school so far.

An incredible school filled with smiling faces from the administration down to the custodian. Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Gray are great leaders - principal and assistant principal. The autism program was great for our son. We came from Lake Windward Elementary thinking we had the best of the best. Nope. I never even saw Julie (LWE Principal) participate in anything related to the autism program at Lake Windward let alone even say "hi" to parents. On the other hand, Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Gray are very hands-on and involved in every aspect of the school - from general education to special education. Ms. Tracy and her entire Special Education team are incredible! They really took the time to ensure our son was receiving everything he needed in terms of academics, social settings, and sensory needs. I was very sad that we were not going to be at Ocee after our kiddo graduated. I will never forget Mrs. Wrenn and all that she did for our son. Ocee Elementary was a blessing in disguise!

We've had a great experience at Ocee. Friendly staff, great family engagement (no pressure), great communication. I cant believe this is our last year at this school.

An okay school. Staff is not too dedicated. sWe donated several times to the PTA and got no acknowledgement.

I have two children at Ocee. Both have shown significant development thanks to the teachers and curriculum taught there. Of particular note is the schools focus on diversity, teaching empathy and integrating different ways of learning the same subject to nurture to all kids ability to learn.

Both my child and I have had a very positive experience at Ocee Elementary. I believe the teachers meet the children where they are and help them explore new and different ways of learning. The parent organization, now known as Ocee Elementary Foundation (OEF), is active and very involved. They put on amazing events and learning opportunities like in school field trips called ScienceX, and an array of Cultural Arts programming too!

We've been attending Ocee for 6 years already and we love this school inside out! Ocee focuses on building up the students in all dimensions, and maximize all the resource to continuously drive a better learning environment for the kids. This is a school embraces improvements and adopt latest technology and best education methodology to enhance the learning experience. The leadership of principal is fantastic, the teachers and staff are outstanding. They are tremendously supportive, encouraging and positive. Ocee also has a strong support from parents who actively participate in all types of events and volunteering. Last but not least, as an immigrant family, we can say Ocee values every student equally and appreciates where they come from. We have one more year to go and would like to enjoy every single moment to walk along with Ocee.

My son has attended Ocee for 4 yrs. The support and guidance he has received from the counselors and teachers overall has been exceptional. My family remained living in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area mainly because of the excellence in the school systems. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to enroll him in Ocee Elementary for his entire elementary experience.

I went to this school since 2009 and let me tell ya this school has been the best experience of my life. The 6 years I went to this school were AMAZING. The staff and principal were great . They have a excellent PTA . The PTA do everything to just help kids learn and have fun at the same time. K-2 goes to field trips to museums. 3 grade goes to dahlonega Gold Mine. 4 grade goes to the Georgia Aquarium. 5 grade grade goes to Rock Eagle. So as you could see Ocee Elementary is just the right school for your kids.

A great diverse school with high academic standards. Very community driven and an active PTA. We came to Ocee from a private school and are very impressed with the school, the community and its programs.

The principal Debbie Pernice should not be leading an elementary school. The teachers are excellent. The principal expressed that children with disabilities should be medicated instead of additional supervision. This school really needs to move her or help her realize its time to retire.

Our first year at Ocee was great. It was a great learning environment and his teacher was amazing. Communication was also great between his teacher and I. I would certainly recommend this school to everyone.

Considering transferring to this school. Our son with a learning disability expressed much anxiety his first week. He suffered some fear entering a larger classroom. In the counselors office, I was called to help and was surprised when the principal along with two assistances entered the small 8x9 room with my son,me and the counselor. I mistakingly made the mistake leaving the room upon her request and came back in to find two adults straddling my son and holding his mouth shut. The poor leadership in the school was evident when we noticed the counselors responsibilities end quickly. The school head needs additional training as to handling ALL children. Typical lazy suggestion " medicate him" as quote ". His previous school expressed that lights ,noise and confined areas create stress. Our pediatrician instantly reminded her about is condition. Leader is expected to exhibit comfort/ solutions . My son was expelled for one week. Upon returning to the school he was ignored by the principal that I felt showed complete lack of professionalism. Many of the staff understand school foundation and guidance,Thank you. The principal should stop parading at her sons restaurant a tad
