My son is having a wonderful experience in 6th grade at Zebulon Magnet Middle. The elective choices have really fit his love for science & the arts. The teachers are quick to respond and understand the adjustment coming from elementary to middle school. We feel blessed to have a school in Eastern Wake County that offers this program for our children!

This is our first year at ZMS. We love the magnet elective program, as it gives the students a chance to explore more than two electives each semester. The 6th grade teachers have been great so far, and inspire a love of learning for my daughter that was lost during virtual learning during Covid. I love seeing that the school has exterior doors that are locked throughout the day, so I know they care about the students’ safety. They have cameras at the entrance to see who all is coming in the building. With all that is going on today, safety is a big concern and ZMS takes it seriously. The office staff answer any questions I have whenever I call, and are very friendly. The administration takes the time to get to know the students as well, which I appreciate as a parent. We have had the best experience with middle school so far with ZMS. You won’t regret going here!

Zebulon Middle School goes out of its way to address the needs on the whole child. Although academics is certainly the school's priority, students are also afforded opportunities to participate in a number of extra-curricular activities. The administration and teachers are always in communication with parents. I highly recommend this school.

We are new to Zebulon Middle but so far we are very impressed! Communication between teachers and parents is very important to us, and Zebulon Middle has exceeded expectations with frequent updates and very quick replies to all questions. My kids come home every day saying what great day they have had and telling me about the things they are learning. I highly recommend Zebulon Middle to all future muddle school families!

This is my first year teaching at Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Middle School. The school offers many different elective choices as part of the Magnet program. Students are given opportunities to explore through these electives. Teachers take time daily to make connections with students and the overall culture of the school creates a positive environment for learning.

Teachers work very hard to help students succeed. There are a wide variety of electives to suit student interests in addition to core and acceleration classes.

We have enjoyed Zebulon Middle school. The teachers respond in a timely manner to any questions or issues. The teachers also appear to want each child to achieve their best selves. I have 2 children attending and they enjoy going to school, which says alot to me.

We've loved Zebulon Middle school and all of the elective options they offer. The teachers have been very supportive in helping us navigate the transition to middle school and all of the ups and downs of the school year.

My family’s experience at ZGTMMS has been pleasant thus far. However, the concern/opportunity I’ve seen so far is with supply storage. My son received a substantial list of required supplies and was ask to bring them the first day. Our expectation was that he’d be provided a place to house these items. Unfortunately this hasn’t been the case. I watch daily as my six grader transports these items back and forth. I believe that this is definitely an area that needs to be examined and reevaluated.

My son has special needs and he loves his teachers. When covid hit and he couldn’t be in the classroom, it upset him greatly and it also reflected on his grades. He’s happy here at Zebulon Middle and I’ve seen great improvement since him being back on campus.

Zebulon Gifted & Talented Magnet Middle School is an amazing place to work and learn. The teachers, counselors, and administration go above and beyond to build relationships with students. I have enjoyed my experience working at ZGTMMS and the amazing staff I work alongside.

Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School is a great place to learn and teach. Students are given many opportunities to explore their gifts and talents by taking magnet electives like chess, archery, robotics, and math art. As a parent, Zebulon GT Magnet has been like a family for me and my son. The teachers are caring and treat students respectfully. Students build relationships that last a lifetime.

Zebulon Middle School has been an amazing school to work for and the leadership always advocate for their teachers. The students are very driven and get exposed to a lot of electives which broadens their horizons on many topics such as Genetics and Science Olympiad which is a competition class.

My son went to this school. He really enjoyed the great variety of electives that they have at the school. He said the teachers were great and were always ready to support the students learn. He also enjoyed playing soccer (was disappointed that Covid-19 came in when they had the best team to win the conference ).
