Coolidge School has been a wonderful experience for my family. The level of instruction my children received has been phenomenal. The teachers and staff care about their students, and strive to make it a valuable learning experience. The kids have been well prepared for middle school and beyond.

I went to Calvin Coolidge school and my god was it an experience. I wouldn’t call it the “hood” of wyckoff but it definitely wasn’t the nicest area. The teachers were interesting. I got yelled at for reading too much and for going to the wrong water fountain. On the other hand I had the time of my life. Some of my best memories are Coolidge. I think they did a good job preparing me for middle school and I never felt behind any of my classmates that went to other elementary schools. I don’t know how much has changed since I’ve been there but the special teachers are some of the meanest people you’ll ever meet. The actual grade teachers are some of the nicest. Don’t get me started on the nurse.

The school has favoritism towards certain families at this school. Your child will not be picked for certain lead roles for music and athletics if you are not connected to these families. I don't find this practice very christian.
