We recently move to Ridgewood Willard School area. We move to this specific area as we feel the school and surrounding area is the best part of the village. All my children are attending Willard and they love it. They love the teachers, the playground, the spider web and soccer field and especially all the new friends they made. Initially my son isn't doing that well in English and the school offer him extra free tutor with a teacher on weekly basis. He improved tremendously. Ridgewood is also an extremely safe area. When the weather is nice, my 3rd and 4th graders ride their bike to school.

3 of my children have gone thru willard. it is a tight knit, warm and welcoming school with the BEST teachers (3 kids all had different teachers and we only had the most wonderful experiences ...except for one that was fine but could have been a little more proactive with the students) but thats a great ratio for 3 children that had all different teachers. Very involved HSA (thats Ridgewood's version of PTA) raise tons of money for special programs, and things such as ipads for all classes or new playgrounds, etc.
