The Principal is great. Him and his staff really get involved and address any concerns right away. They make sure kids have a happy transition from Elementary to Middle School. The academics is engaging and encourages kids to use their creativity.

Leadership lacks appropriate skills and compassion to effectively, proactively accommodate students with disabilities, instill good character, and protect those who are bullied. Policies are not enforced and school based responsibility is shirked.

Students are not challenged. There are no mid-term or finals grades 6-8, yet the school has a quote on the grade book website, "If we taught your children the way we were taught, they would not be ready for the future." The school follows the Common Core doctrines by not teaching criticism thinking skills and uses biased resources when teaching such nonsense like "global warming."

I would seriously consider private school and have in my house over sending my kids under the care of this principal. My experience with the elementary school in this district was outstanding. My experience with the middle school was poor at best. The best choice I made for my family was leaving this school system after 5th grade. The superintendent should really make big changes and fix what's seriously broken.

Mr. Meyers is awesome. The teachers are fantastic. My life is great in Waldwick Middle School.
