First year here and the school is okay. They test the students so much here I am surpised they have anytime to learn. On adverage my kid takes two tests a week sometimes more. It is not unusual for her to jave two test in the same day. It stresses her out and she is no longer excited to learn. Even her home is reading test which cone from their reading curriculum which is very dry/boring... On the other hand the music teacher here is amazing she runs a chior club and is puting on a musical in the spring.

Very hard to get everyone on the same page when a child is at risk or failing

I have been a part of three school district in Northern Colorado over the past 21 years and by far this school has been the best 3rd-5th grade I have had children attend.

This is an INCREDIBLE school filled with some amazing teachers and outstanding leadership. No school is perfect, but Mountain View works hard to create a positive environment that fosters learning for all kids at all levels.

Very happy. When your child is still skipping to school and for an want summer vacation to come they are in a great place of love and respect.

Poor. It will take much time and effort from myself and the other school to make up the time spent in this school.

Two of my kids are at this school. We had to make a middle of the year move and the kids had a smooth transition into this school. The teachers are efficient and prompt in responses.

Teaching is poor, coordination of counseling with teachers is poor. Communication with teachers is poor.
