Had high hopes when we moved here. The town itself was perfect. Everyone riding bikes to school, Walking to school and just the ease of kids enjoying themselves after school at local establishments walking distance from school. Having a cross guard for Main Street shows the town officials care. Now get inside the HS….it’s a whole diff issue. They are understaffed, teachers lacking the capability to work w teenagers and they had a principal who was focused on becoming superintendent and her local sing career than doing what it right. They give more rights to criminal kids, fur kids (yep you read that right) FURRIES. Kids who are allowed to come to school in animal costumes, speak in animal sounds and completely disrupt classes. They have a football staff that is total daddy ball and do nothing to stop bullying amongst the team. Parents have tried to step up and complain and their fix-all parties can’t play a game or two. Drugs run wild in the school, fights in parking lot. Countless car accidents in parking lot. Staff walks around w blinders on. There for the paycheck. Had so much hoe for the school but someone needs to come in and do an overhaul. Remember when you move here $$ talks!!

The current rating of 5 is accurate! The school does nothing to help w bullying. In fact, protects kids who have charges against them for this specific reason!! It is 100% ruled by rich parents who throw their weight around and if you move here then good luck. They will blame your child for the issue. If you want to join the HS football team, then be prepared to send your child to coinciding. The JV/HS coaches are just as bad. The ultimate daddy ball and who knows who. If think HS advisory teachers help LOL! Joke. They perpetuate HS drama! Don’t come here unless your ready to put your child into therapy.

Administration is more concerned with appearances than students and is not supportive of the teachers.

This is the worst school I have ever been to. I get sick a lot...and I mean a lot lot. I got doctors notes every time I had to miss school due to my infections, and I was passing all of my classes. One day I was called into the office. Told that I couldn't miss anymore school whether my father called in or not, and the only way I could get out was with permission from the nurse. They threatened to take me to court for missing so much school ,and told me that since I had missed so many days I wouldn't receive any credits, but they still expected me to continue passing my classes. I was forced to far behind credit wise that I wouldn't have been able to graduate at all. I wound up dropping out and getting my GED which I did VERY VERY well on with NO help from them. The ONLY decent teacher I had at WHS was Ms. Mizrahi. I went to the principal one time about the choir teacher sharing tylenol with the students, and she didn't care. I couldn't learn anything in math either with the way they decided to teach. I find it stupid that everyone has to work in groups. some people don't work well that way and others get credit for doing nothing when another student wants to pass.
