Excellent teaching staff; lousy administration. Staff too intimidated to speak out due to lack of support from lical Superintendent & Board of Ed.

so far a great school; and has a wonderful caring principal . Mr butcher goes beyond what he should do--he cares deeply and get involved with each student and knows by name

This school is Amazing. Everyone is so kind and ready to help a kid learn. Going here from kindergarten through fifth grade I can tell you that you'll never find a better school. In my years here going through many teachers while this school has become better and better it has never lost the qualities of teaching kids to be Ready, Respectful, and Responsible. Even as my younger brother went through his years here this place has stayed amazing (and fun for the kids!)

They have a wonderful special education staff, Mr. Butcher knows all the kids, and I think my son has had the best teacher of his lifetime this past year. She cared about each and every child in the classroom and it showed. The gifted program is good too. The main complaints I have are cosmetic (the playground leaves much to be desired) and the building floor plan is a bit confusing. The parking lot area is too small for events, but these are just funding issues. I'm extremely happy with this school and how my children have learned and grown this past year. When my child had a teacher with obvious burnout syndrome, they moved her into a different role which was good for the kids, and I think good for her too, since she wasn't simply fired. I like how they try to find ways to make things work for the child, parent and staff.

Kennedy Elementary School in Winder, GA is the best school that I could've ever hoped for. My daughter loves the environment and every staff member is wonderful. The principal takes his time to know every student. I am so happy with this school and I have talked with other parents who feel the same.

Kennedy Elementary is awesome! The teachers are wonderful, always a smile on their faces, the principal (Mr. Butcher) actually opens car doors and knows all the kids' names and the facility is clean with a friendly atmosphere.

Love this school! We are very sad that we are moving and can't take the school with us! :.( My daughter attended from K-4th. My son just finished 1st grade. I was so lucky to have Ms. Pittman twice! Congrats on teacher of the year! The principal, Mr. Butcher, has been great. He is really involved. He always seems to be everywhere! He has earned a lot of respect from the teachers, the students, and the parents!! I believe that his leadership goes a long way. This school strives for excellence. It deserves a higher score!

My daughters started going to Kennedy last school year when we bought a house in the school's district. We absolutely love this school. The teachers are really special and the principal is one of a kind, They adress my daughters by their first name and they've both received specialized support to help them catch up from a less-than-perfect school district we previously moved out of. This school deserves a perfect score. I cant say enough about how grateful i am for these educators. they've been a real blessing to our family.
