Holsenbeck was the school I went to when I was a kid. It was honestly the best years of my life. I am now in high school and can say I learned so many things and made many valuable memories during my years at Holsenbeck. I hope that all students, present and future, will enjoy the same wonderful experiences that I did.

We are nearing the end of my childrens' 3rd and final year at Holsenbeck. I have decided it would be safer to homeschool and I feel the quality of their education will improve dramatically. My daughter has dealt with bullies for the entirety of her time at this school but this year has been the worst by far. She has been physically assaulted on the bus and at school multiple times, as well as verbally abused, and nothing happens to the other students. It feels like they would rather keep their funding up by keeping children that are destroying the self esteem and school spirit of every other student they encounter than deal with the problem. I have considered keeping my kids home these last 4 1/2 days and would absolutely never dream of sending one back or referring another family to this horrible school. This is my biggest complaint but far from my only complaint.

This girl has the most dangerous pick up line. And the woman who takes down the tags in the afternoon is the rudest woman I’ve ever had to deal with in my whole entire life

Holsenbeck is an amazing school! The entire staff is very friendly and the teachers go above and beyond.

Great school. The PTA program did some fun things that give parents plenty of chances to get involved.

Holsenbeck Elementary has been a wonderful school for my two boys. We have had phenomenal teachers, that have gone above and beyond. I am able to keep I close contact with teachers through the day through text and phone calls. We have loved the scope gifted program. The administration is very hands on. My children have had a wonderful experience there. I am disappointed that the rating are so low because I can't imagine them having a more postitive experience any where else.

It's alright. Word of advice......... Teach your kid to be a tattle tail!!!! The first one to the teacher will win, the other no matter what you say or your child says your kid is the "bad" one!!!! My son can get kicked in his private then call the person a butt head. And he's the one in major trouble!!!! Crazy!!! Good luck!

Our son is currently in second grade and has attended Holsenbeck since Kindergarten. My husband and I have been very pleased with the school and the teachers. Our son is happy to go to school each day and eager to tell us at the end of the day what all he did at school. He is in the gifted program and we feel he is appropriately challenged each day. The teachers work tirelessly to meet the needs of all their students. I volunteer pretty regularly and I see how hard the teachers work with individual students. More importantly, we believe our son feels extremely loved when he's at school. We really love Holsenbeck!

My son is a kindergartner here and I could not be happier! His teacher Mrs . Herman and the principal Mrs. Robinson are awesome and really care about the children. He has learned so much this year and the year is not even half over!

Not impress!. The teachers are nice, but there is something lacking in the education. I am currently looking to transfer my littles ones to another school. I would pay for private school if I could. My daughters have had some great teachers and others not so great.
