I am deeply disappointed with Clapham High School's recent actions. The administration's refusal to allow students to collect food sent for the hungry is both appalling and inhumane. This school has demonstrated a lack of empathy and social responsibility, turning a blind eye to the needs of the less fortunate.Furthermore, I have observed disturbing instances of racism within the school. It is unacceptable for any institution, especially one responsible for educating young minds, to harbor and tolerate discriminatory behavior. This lack of respect and equality is detrimental to the students' growth and well-being.I urge the school administration to reconsider their policies and take immediate steps to foster a more inclusive, compassionate, and socially responsible environment. If these necessary changes are not made promptly, serious actions will be taken to address these issues. The future of our children depends on it.

This school requires all student to learn at the same level, expects total obedience, and has a terrible head of school. I have heard that me makes families sign documents where they cannot say “negative” things about the school.

Clapham school provides a beautiful education. The administration is intentional about working with families, understanding their concerns, and having a true partnership. The teachers at Clapham are inspiring, and understand their students needs. I have two daughters at Clapham this year and both of their teachers have always communicated, worked with us, and understood where our children could be challenged academically and spiritually. If you’re considering Clapham I strongly encourage you to schedule a tour, and notice the peace and joy and of learning in the classrooms. Both of my daughters have thrived at Clapham and have a joyful attitude toward learning. I would even say that my children have both been inspired by their teachers, which is truly beautiful. My fourth grader was inspired to spend more time reading her Bible, and my Explorer’s (kindergarten) daughter has been motivated to ask many excellent questions!

This school has been a blessing to our family in so many ways. Our children are taught Christ's love for all, they are taught logic and reason, they are known and loved by the teachers and staff. The expectations for students are high but not at all unrealistic and character is built every day. Clapham School is a fine example of a classical, liberal arts school.

We moved to the area when our youngest son was starting high school (upper school) and chose Clapham because of its academic rigor and small class size. We've been thrilled by the way the faculty care for the students and the ways our son has developed academically. He reads carefully, thinks deeply, and engages thoughtfully in his classes. We have four kids and are sad that we didn't have the option to send the older ones to Clapham.

We have two girls at Clapham (C1 and C5) and have had an excellent experience so far. The mathematical curriculum is based on Singapore math and operates ahead of grade level. Humanities are taught in the style of Charlotte Mason, with narrations in the lower grades and discussion in the higher grades. The debate and discussion that I have observed in the upper school surpasses many colleges. Students at all levels ask deep questions and are encouraged to think critically about problems. The school has done a good job with discipline - when we had an issue with bullying, it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The sense of order and decency of the school far surpasses anything I witnessed when I was in public school twenty years ago. On the downside, Clapham is small, so students will not find the breadth of extracurriculars and resources of a public school, but we expect there will be more offerings with the new location and growing student body. We have had some teachers that we could recommend more than others, but all were genuinely caring for the welfare of our children.

Wonderful. So blessed that my children get to be challenged and nurtured by such a group of talented teachers and committed men and women of God.

When I think of all the blessings in our lives, Clapham very quickly rises to the top of that list! Clapham has been school-home for our two boys for the past five years, and over that time, they have grown to absolutely love school…always eager to go, and coming home with even bigger smiles on their faces. I am so thankful for a school where they are held to appropriately high standards (first and foremost for their character!), and supported every bit of the way by talented, loving teachers who go to every length to help them get there. Our boys have grown tremendously in every way thanks to these amazing efforts and the passionate, grace-filled community of Clapham.

Excellent! The teachers genuinely love their students and the subjects they teach. It is encouraging to see a Christian school take seriously rigorous academics, a Christian worldview, and a classical curriculum.

Amazing! After seven and a half years I can honestly say that it has changed me. I certainly would not be the same person I am now without Clapham. Clapham is and always ought to be a transformative place turning children and teens into lovers of learning, adults prepared for life beyond simply an academic training. Clapham will change you if you let it, I'll leave you with this, Clapham changes people, so are you prepared to be different?

We have two children and we've been at Clapham for 8 years. This school not only educates minds, but it also intentionally educates hearts. It shows children what is true, beautiful and good through its complex curriculum of living books where compassionate faculty lead the classroom. Children are loved and educated in partnership with parents. The experience is second to none.

We are truly thankful for Clapham School and for the character and habits we see our children forming the longer they are there. We try to teach them so many things at home, but having the outside influence is also integral to their whole person development. I love what they’re learning there and the big picture goals to point students to wisdom and truth and what is genuinely beautiful in the world.

The school has high standards and provides rigorous education with a strong focus on character development. However the school needs to balance it's borderline obsessive focus on rules and procedures with creative freedom. Most kids have PE as their favorite class which leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to an engaging and joyful learning environment.

Clapham School has outstanding teachers who love our children and present to the students a rich feast of living ideas for them to engage with as they learn how to think and express themselves. Our children are in their 7th year there, and the cumulative effect of this kind of education is outstanding. They have an understanding of the world and history and their place in it. They have learned how to think logically and write beautifully. If you are looking for excellent academics, loving teachers who shepherd hearts, a Christian worldview, you should visit Clapham. Please note they go through 9th grade this year (2012-13 school year) as they have added a grade each year.
