If you’re considering applying your kid to this school trust me your kid is going to love this school. There’s so many nice teachers and students that make you feel welcome, there’s so many fun events that are educational at the same time. So coming from a parent that had three children that went to this school it’s overall a good school.

All three of my kids went through Washington. Wonderful teachers and support staff. The 5th grade class does outdoor Ed( not this year sadly) but it is an overnight trip that the kids learn team building. Washington is the last school in the district to do this program and it's because the teachers are so supportive of their students! This school is GREAT and anyone moving to the area will love this school!

We were looking to get a larger house but there is no way I will leave this school until my children have graduated. I truly recommend this school to everyone.

Washington does a wonderful job at educating the students. Teachers are supportive and academics are great.

My child attended Washington as a kindergarten student 2012-2013. Her class size never exceeded 16 students and her teacher was wonderful. Ms. Banta is one of the most caring teachers out there! We were very lucky to have her! My only complaint is in the physical education department. The PE teacher is a little too demanding of 5&6 year old kindergarten students and runs the show as if it was a military camp.

I found this school to be lacking in it's education for the incoming Kindergarten students. The class size was huge 34 kids, one teacher, and over 15 if the children only spoke Spanish. Not a problem if they had the original set up for the kids with English as a second language. My child was basically taking preschool over again. The teacher seemed frazzled and angry as we saw her yelling and getting upset in front of the kids. When I spoke to the principal about my concerns he basically patted me on the head and said to get over it. Very disappointed in the direction that Wheaton has taken it's schools. This coming from a life ling Wheaton resident who attended these very same schools.
