The most racist environment I have experienced in my 35 years in USA including residing in 5 different states. Parents don’t say hello to an unknown parent, not the mentioned the teachers are far worse, including the principal. The teachers and their assistants turned their faces when I said good morning on a several occasions. My daughter went to Pre-K two blocks from this school and had many friends (she still misses them dearly). Five weeks have gone by with 31 students in the classroom and my daughter has no friends. What a terrible culture! My son graduated from St. Matthew and the experience was like night and day. I fully agree that children are like angels at that age but if a student has been cast out from the rest, whose fault is that? Or who should be accountable for that? Aa a devout Catholic, I love my faith, and I’m deeply wounded and frustrated to have experienced such a despicable attitude from another Catholic institution such as St. Petronille school and its stuff.

Ten out of ten by far! It is the best catholic school in the Chicago suburbs!

The teachers and staff at St. Petronille School have closely watched over and guided my children academically, behaviorally, socially and emotionally over the last nine years. The attention paid to each student - inside the classroom and out - consistently amazes me. I have loved that there are so many opportunities for parent involvement - there is a team philosophy that exists between parents, staff and administration for making our kids the best students and the best people they can be. The parents make up a warm community of people that works together, helps eachother and looks out for all of the students - on campus and around town outside of school, too. It is so nice to know every single one of my kids' classmates, and it is reassuring to know that my kids are similarly known by the other parents.

St Petronille is full of committed teachers, welcoming activities (sports/arts/music), engaged students, and active parents. The culture is such that the youngest children are comforted and the older students are challenged. Overall it has been an amazing place for our children to learn, play, and grow.

St Petronille teaches much more than reading and writing. This school prepares young people to be strong & confident adults.
