School year started ok, we had feedback meetings. The kids were giving good feedback. Things and issues started to come up, our kid’s behavior started to change. We send emails asking for clarification from the school we received meaningless response and that after days and days. They have a system of teaching that I not only find old fashioned but also irrational. My kids are more afraid now, their self confidence has gone down. They are afraid of the school and they dont want to go.I would never recommend this school to anyone, in-fact I am moving my kids out.

My wife and I made a concerted effort to find the best school district in the western suburbs. We feel we have found that district in Glen Ellyn 89. We were wrongly steered by our Realtor to District 41 in Glen Ellyn, but our research quickly showed in 41 a poorly-run school system, disposable Superintendents, bad decisions regarding referendums and school additions (i.e. after a $40mil referendum, still no full-day kindergarten). All this for higher taxes. No thanks. We are more than pleased with the education that our children receive at Parkview and will be proud to send them on to any school in district 89.

From a kindergarten mom perspective all staff and his teacher have made me feel so comfortable with my sons education and safety. Im proud to be a park view mom!

My children transferred from another district to this school in grades 3 and 5. I was thrilled they both placed in the gifted program for Math/Science, which they have absolutely loved. The school culture is friendly, respectful and the parent involvement is quite remarkable. The children have more homework than their previous school, but it's a welcome change from not being challenged in the past.

Park View is friendly welcoming school. My granddaughter is a new student at the end of last year and fitted in with all very easily.
