My daughter LOVES going to school here! The teachers are VERY committed and the leadership team works hard to support students and teachers. Special shout out to Ms Burger, Ms Rosko, Ms Garcia, Ms Urbina, Ms P and Ms Nava. I have witnessed first hand how they go above and beyond! But that said, all the teachers are great and work welltogether.

I had 1 problem with this school. Advanced Math/Reading teacher. She was the worst teacher ive ever had. She would make us do the same thing over and over again but in a different format. So strict and draining. Made school feel unbearable. Picks favorites and is horrible hiding it. - 2021 Grad

School has no air conditioner!!! With mask mandate and heat over 100 it is ridiculous

We love WEGNER. The school is organized and well run. Academics are differentiated for higher achieving students.

This is a wonderful school. The new principal Mrs. Roman is warm and welcoming. She is an advocate for all of the students. Most of the teachers that my students have had go above and beyond to teach and care for their students. The office staff is kind and thorough. The whole staff at this build love to work at Wegner and it shows. Our test scores are low mostly due to a high ESL population. You will see that the test scores begin to rise once students are exited for the ESL program. This along with all District 33 elementary schools are now K-5 buildings.

We have lived in the district for 12 years and have a son in kindergarten and daughter in 4 th grade. We have been very happy with all the teachers so far, the kids have been getting very good test scores & I really like the new principal. She has listened to my concerns & has addressed them ( concerning issues with kids on the bus)

Four children through Wegner since 2005 with the youngest coming to her last year there, and all of them have had excellent teachers and support. The older ones continue to be straight A students in high school, volunteer in and out if the community, and participate in sports. I thank Wegner for getting all of them off to a great start in their education!

The first two years for my kids were great - Kinder Garten and 1st Grade because of good teaches like Mrs.Brogan & Mrs. Laukitis. However Grade 2 was a nightmare. The teacher, Mrs Burger is totally uncommitted and inexperienced. Has no passion to teach. Always seems to be overwhelmed. The principal appears to be totally ineffective. Bullying is getting to be an issue.

Wegner has the best teachers and staff they are very helpful, caring, and very support of. This is the reason why parents step up in volunteering at Wegner. My kids love going to wegner.

The staff I have encountered have all been so very helpful in wanting the children to succeed! My child is in kindergarten and we have had a wonderful first year of school outside the home experience!
