I would never send my child to this school or any U-46 schools! It is seriously not a good learning environment

The parent and school community is welcoming, diverse, and loving. The PTO is always having fun events to bring the kids, parents, and school staff together. The social worker on staff MS. G as she is known, is loved and adored. Any emotional concerns that come up are addressed one on one and a plan is developed to support the student and parent. The teachers, principal, and students read together and are excited to come to school.I am beyond blessed we bought a home that is such an amazing place for my kids to learn and grow.

All staff has been helpful and friendly. My daughter has attended the school since kindergarten and now she’s in 5th grade.

I have beem very impressed with the dedication of the staff. Teachers give their own time to show up at their students extra curricular programs.

A new principal for Spring Trail Elementary and a new beginning. I am satisfied with Spring Trail teachers as observed by their dedication and tenure. Consider their challenge off bringing up lower performance students to a new level of learning. That is a challenge for them and they do a well job.The slogan Go tigers! is a joke, there is no school sport team. Learning begins at home initiated by parents and enriched at school not left entirely by teachers

In 2011 Spring Trail received a new principal and with it a new emphasis to bring under preforming students up to par, while ignoring the rest of the students. Parents need to step up and help their children learn. If more parents do this the teachers could get back on track and teach to the appropriate grade level not 1 to 2 levels below. There are few teachers that encourage their student to learn go above and beyond what is required, while other just show up to work and do just enough not to get fired. District U46 needs to cut the class size back down to 20 students per class and figure out how to help the remedial students without ignoring the rest.
