The schools is above my expectations. The counselor and teachers are very knowledgeable and kind with the students. My son is happier and learning a lot.

In my 20 years of education, I've never experienced a more high maintainance school. The amount of busywork they assign students is staggering. Expect 4 hours of homework a night, expect countless worksheets, expect stressed-out students and parents. Do not expect caring or nurturing values, do not expect 21st Century learning objectives, do not expect coordination by the staff to individualize instruction or halt the churning gears of an overreaching curriculum. A teacher even admitted my son's science text book was not age appropriate. I conducted a readability test on it, and it rated at an 11th grade reading level. My child is 11. Quite simply, the school is setting these poor kids up to fail. At the end of the day, your child will be drowned by a paper trail, bogged down by Common Core , and riddled with stress and panic. Explore other towns, private schools, home school, any place but this.
