Im a student here and this school, sucks. The school is dirty, some bathrooms have MOLD in the toilets. Teachers dont care unless your bleeding out rapidly. Students are rude, slurs get passed around like a gossip train. The school lunches have made me throw up. Students prank call the police, teachers dont teach, and this school just isnt the right choice if your child is going into middle school.

We love this school and the teachers. My daughter loves going there and never wants to miss school, even for a trip! They do a great job with sports there too.

Our children have had a wonderful experience at Wake Forest Middle School. We have loved the advocacy and involvement of the administration and the personal relationships they’ve been able to build with their teachers. They’ve also excelled in advanced courses and had wonderful peer relationships.

I've been in this school for a year and am satisfied with the education and staff. The teachers are very supportive and helpful in their studies. I am not satisfied with the behavior of the students. Almost every day there are fights and students not treating each other well.

Just moved here for my 8th grade year, I sometimes wanna go back, this school isn't good for any student who actually wants to learn something, the teachers don't care about educating the students, they say swears, get on their phones some just call their friends in the middle of teaching, don't care about what your needs are won't help you. it's really only a small handful of teachers that are likeable. Some teachers even try to pick fights with students and other teachers. Highly do not recommend.

Avoid this school. 1. Bad academically, the school does have an improvement plan but still terrible. My daughter came from a highly-rated public school in Northern Virginia and academically has fallen behind in this school. 2. One of her girlfriends from a minority group was bullied. 3. Worst, social media threats are becoming recurrent. This is a disaster waiting to happen. We are pulling her out for the following school year.

this school is bad lol. a lot of the students AND teachers are immature. if a group of kids in a grade do something bad, the whole grade is punished instead of that selected group, which is stupid. also they handle bullying bad. plus people are always smoking in the bathrooms.

This school is absolutely terrible. Staff does absolutely nothing about bullying, I was physically and mentally hurt by my classmates, then the staff tried to gaslight me and tried “peacefully resolving” it after multiple complaints were made. Kids will hit you just to “joke around” or have fun. This school got so bad I was already looking to move to a different school by October.Fights happen daily and many have happened right next to me, there was once 6 fights in one day and the fire alarms were pulled multiple times. One of the teachers tried breaking up one of the fights and got hurt, they had to take time off of work. Threats are made so often that I was scared to be in my own school, I missed a few days due to the shooting threats. What also scared me was my peers, knowing that they could do anything and get away with it. One of the old staff members (as far as i know) called another staff member a RACIAL SLUR , they almost got into a fist fight in front of 2 classes of students . I had multiple teachers leave ( Understandably) which resulted in a grade drop when before I came to this school I had straight A’s. Some of the teachers will embarrass you infront of the whole class for a simple mistake. Punishments are made to the entire grade instead of the specific students causing the problems. Or if its a class thing, the whole entire class will be punished instead of the specific students. So many students left this school which resulted in staff having to leave. I know middle school is when people will act out and be rude the most but this is unacceptable. Please do not send your child to this school if you can

WF middle has been terrible for my childs mental health. They refuse to work with the learning plan. Administration will not respond to requests.

We moved here during my children's middle school years. My oldest only went here for one year. My youngest spent all three years here. Any problems we had here have to do with the NC education system and WCPSS, not the school itself. We moved from a very strong school district that had plenty of support at the state & local level so, apples and oranges to compare. One thing that did impress me was that you will not find a group of teachers and staff that try so hard to make this a good experience. Our first year, here they really celebrated students even highlighting those that have turned their grades completely around through middle school. I thought that showed an interest in the students throughout their middle school experience.

I think this school needs more IMPROVEMENT (keyword improvement). The WFMS News is great, good acting. The editing is horrible, the camera can shake mostly when the cameraman is running and such.

This school has gone down hill since the previous administration left. Many quality teachers have left as well. The school is overcrowded, and the trailers are not adequately heated and have poor lighting. Trailer classrooms are not even 50 degrees when children start their day. That should be a health code violation!

Hate this school, staff doesn't teach and bully other kids

Too many don't care about the kids. They don't care about their grades or futures. Some are mean and some just there to fill a teacher's seat. Requesting a call or meeting from one teacher was ignored. Requested in email, through my child and even went to the school and requested this and got NO response. Had also emailed the 8th grade councilor about things and no response there either. Yelling at a student about how they will see them next year bc their grades aren't perfect...Asking a student if they were raised by idiots... My child was pulled from the school middle of the year I HATE that another child of mine has to go to this dreadful place. And I have 3 kids to go. This place will know me VERY WELL.

I receive an email from my sons teacher about school policy and him running in the hallway, and how he will receive ASD. And I cant get any definite answers, solutions, or policies on my son being pantsed(kids pulling his pants down at school). Staff wants to call it boys being boys. To me, that's assault.
