The current principal and other administration pushed my 3.85 GPA sophomore daughter, who attended since 8th grade, out of the school because she developed a chronic illness called POTS during her first year at SUA, most likely caused from post Covid infection she sustained while attending. My daughter was fainting due to this medical condition and was told she needed to find a new school after winter break because she was a "distraction to her peers and teachers." The principal told my daughter that she didn't have any "fight" in her regarding her education even though my daughter maintained a high GPA while attending countless doctors appointments, traveling all over to seek care and therapy, and dealing with figuring out how to live with a chronic illness that has no cure. The mission of this school is to exclude anyone who is different or challenging. They are discriminatory and gross. I am a public school teacher and cannot believe the practices and leadership that is allowed in this purgatory.

This school looks beautiful on the outside but is an utter mess on the inside - no true qualified instructors (only some with a license and certification to teach) Inept administrators who are more interested in marketing the school than nurturing the students they have. Teachers (you can’t necessarily call them that if they don’t have a teaching license though) will only reply to your communication at their convenience- will ignore your emails, and offer no system for why they grade the way they do. Do not do not do not enroll your child- especially if you live in a district with strong public schools. The administration of SUA is all style, no substance.

Our experience has been amazing. The teachers, counselors, administration, and all staff are approachable and available for questions or assistance at all times. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and genuinely care about their students.

Excellent. They made the transition into a new school as pleasant as possible for my daughter. They had multiple opportunities to socialize with other students well before the beginning of the school year.

St. Ursula Academy made me the hard-working, dedicated woman I am today, unafraid to embrace new challenges and put my Catholic faith at the center of my life.
