Dulaney prepared our daughter for college with challenging courses and lots of club/after-school options. The physical building needs improvement but the students still succeed!

This school helps students prepare to score well in PSAT and SAT, and focus to prepare for good colleges. I like all my daughter’s teachers, they are really working hard

Building is falling apart and the county currently has no concrete plans to replace it (they may actually remodel Towson High before they do a new Dulaney, even though Towson's building is OK and the school is doing better). Dulaney has no AC, you can't drink the water (lead pipes), and mostly poor/outdated athletic facilities. Athletic programs pretty weak other than men's basketball, which has been drawing kids from the city for some years now. There's a lot of forces that will make it hard for Dulaney to remain even an average school. It may end up like Perry Hall is currently. It has been following that path for 10 years now.Expectations for students are fairly low. A student can get by with minimal homework and there isn't a ton of parental investment in clubs or other activities. This is partly (mostly?) due to changes in the zoning and housing patterns in the area, which isn't going to change anytime soon. Lots of families that can afford it put their kids into MIAA schools nearby. If you can afford it, go private or move to Hereford Zone. Obviously, if your kid is really bright, they can also apply for Carver (magnet school nearby) and that's great.

Very disappointed with Dulaney. Direct communication is non-existent. Emails are rarely returned. There is no support or guidance from school counselors. Students teach themselves. This is not the educational experience I wanted for my children. The school environment is depressing. The physical facility is a disgrace. Baltimore County Public Education is shameful. I wish I was financially able to keep my children in private school.

The only time I had something that was even close to happiness during my time here was when I was defying my teachers or the administration.

Experience with classes and teachers mostly positive. Many AP level classes offered, with skilled, experienced, passionate teachers instructing. Many clubs and teams offered - something for everyone.Very negative experience with the administration. They do not respond, they do not disseminate information, they do not update information. They are not empathetic.

Teachers are excellent and spend time out of class to address learning issues. Excellent after school activities for music & STEM program. Unfortunately school infrastructure is crumbling and hope we get new school soon

Looking into how I can be of assistance to some of the kids having to deal with the bullying and race issues. My child isn’t invoked but when try’s to help , gets picked on as well

My daughter will graduate from Dulaney this year with a very positive take on her years there. She was involved in the many activities, the band is awesome and has tons of accolades. Her teachers were always willing to help whether it was an after school tutoring session or online help with a question about hw. They do need help with the Peer Tutoring program. That was very disorganized and not helpful. Most of the time another student wasn't available and it took a long time to get someone assigned.

All I can say is expect to be bullied at this school and don't expect to make any friends at this school. The teachers do not take time to explain the material in detail. Not to mention that they force students to stand for the pledge of allegiance against their will even if their religion forbids them to. The teachers do nothing to help the students and the school is nothing but cliques

This school is not good at all they allow bully at there school. When I was complaining they act as if they didn't care. A lot of kids don't live in the area goes there. Just sad. I want to send my child to a school who cares.
