“Exceptional Educational Experience at Mays Chapel Elementary!”Our experience at Mays Chapel Elementary School has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my child in Pre-K (now third-grader) stepped foot into the school, she has been greeted with warmth, enthusiasm, and a dedication to education that is truly commendable.First and foremost, I must highlight the outstanding efforts of the teachers at Mays Chapel Elementary. Their passion for teaching is noticable, and it’s evident that they go above and beyond to ensure that each student receives the attention and support they need to thrive as well as communicate regularly with the parents. My daughter has developed a genuine love for learning, thanks to the creative and engaging methods employed by her teachers.The principal and counselors at Mays Chapel Elementary also deserve high praise for their unwavering commitment to the students’ well-being. They create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. Their open-door policy and willingness to listen to concerns demonstrate their dedication to fostering a strong sense of community within the school.One of the most remarkable aspects of Mays Chapel Elementary is how it has empowered my daughter to become an independent learner. She eagerly looks forward to going to school each day, eager to explore new ideas and concepts. It’s wonderful, as a parent, to see her take ownership of her education and confidently complete her assignments with a sense of pride and accomplishment.In conclusion, I cannot recommend Mays Chapel Elementary highly enough. Amazing elementary school. My children both attend. The teachers are so caring and phenomenal. The principal and assistant principal are so kind and fantastic. The school itself is so new and everything is state of the art.We feel so blessed to have out children at Mays!

Without a doubt, Mays has exceptional learning environments, a hands-on PTO, great teachers, and the best principal who passionately cares about his students' success! I'm confident my children are getting the best public school education in Baltimore County.

As both a staff member and parent at Mays Chapel, I have been consistently amazed at the dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm of all staff at the school, the commitment and involvement of the parents and community, and the passion for learning of our students. We were rezoned here from Pinewood, and could not be happier. The teachers are amazing, the building is beautiful, the principal is the best I have ever met, and the parents are very involved. I have been a class parent and on the PTA in both schools, and am amazed at the difference. Every function I have organized/ participated in at Mays Chapel, I have more volunteers than I need! I have never seen a school with that much family support (including the New York private school that I attended as a child). We are so happy that our children are only in 1st and 2nd grade, since we have many more years to enjoy the school.

The environment in this school makes the hair on the back of your neck stand at attention. The energy is one of learning and focus. The principal is exceptional and has set the tone of the school. Great teachers, great technology and an outstanding dedication to creating a learning environment. We feel like we won the lottery by having our two girls placed in this school!!! I mean that!

My child has a very mean and vindictive fourth grade teacher. Worse yet, even after presenting evidence of the shameful behavior to the principal, he stands behind her. There needs to be at least a minimum level of kindness in an elementary school teacher, and this woman does not have that. The principal should be ashamed. He has dropped the ball so many times. He needs to put the children ahead of the staff that he hand picked last summer.

Mays Chapel is a brand new school and it is all smoke and mirrors. Nice facility but the education lacks substance, the teachers are not helpful, and the leadership is not concerned. My child has excelled all four of her years at school thus far, until being redistricted to this school last fall. What a fiasco from the very beginning. Three terms in and I am still being met with huge resistance when it comes to helping my child succeed. If you want a cooperative staff, move away from Mays Chapel.
