I went there till the end of fifth grade when my parents moved us away. I wish I had finished off elementary school there. I can't wait to be able to move back and maybe work there once I get my degree.

My daughter (who is in 4th grade this year) last year had tested high enough to enter the TAG program at another school. She was thriving and was involved in things. This year she often wouldn't complete her schoolwork or homework. She has few friends. She is not involved like she used to be. I have been trying to teach her responsibility but she does have a tendency to lose things (and I don't blame her since at the start of the year they had probably 10 different folders that the teacher had them put work in and she couldn't always find what she needed even if it was in her bag!). When she would ask the teacher for another copy of an assignment she was often told, "too bad" or "deal with it" and not given another copy so she was unable to finish her work. The staff is plenty nice but I feel like if you are not a stay at home mother who can spend all day at the school then your child will be ignored no matter how involved you try to be.
