Our school may have some problems but we are still a great school. We have some great teachers including one of the best language arts teachers ever and an incredible science teacher along with a bunch of other incredible staff. We have registrar that is a phenomenal. Every time that I see her she is so supportive, kind, and fun. She will be the part of this school that I miss the most. Thank you to all of the staff and teachers that make this school so great.

The vice-principal used to bully me, and I ultimately failed out over ten years ago... but now I almost have a BSc so...

Getting in touch with the front office is good but what appeals me is that they cannot do anything to help me. They cannot get involved in family issues.....uh hello that's what you are supposed to do gey involved and stay involved. I am appalled that they DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT have a school nurse. Despicable. I am wondering just why does this school not have a budget for a freakin SCHOOL NURSE. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO GET THERE ACT TOGETHER

As a recent alumni of Memorial Middle School, I can confidently say it is not a positive environment. During my middle school career, I attended 4 educational facilities across the west coast, and Memorial was by far, the worst. The staff is unsympathetic to any genre of familial issues. The only time they will administer positive reinforcement is if you obviously hail from upper middle class. The grading system is atrocious, and does anything BUT prepare students for high school and beyond. Rather than a standard A-F system, an elementary style 1-4 scoring mechanism is used. I'm truthfully not sure if this is laziness on the end of the district or staff, but it is completely useless. The environment is anything but warm, and instead feels like a purgatorial outdated limbo in which any sense of real life and a functioning populous does not exist. Advanced students are supplied with limited-to-no-opportunities that facilitate for their needs. Students that don't quite reach the benchmark are not assisted, either. Memorial Middle School ultimately affirms mediocre performances from students. The students are catty and disrespectful, and the office staff mirror them with great accuracy. Not to mention, pupils are non-diverse and incredibly judgemental. Two stars to encourage improvement.

Memorial Middle School is an excellent school. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Teachers are accessible and the administrators are easy to communicate with. Memorial just received a State Report Card rating of 4. This is an excellent rating! They work well with students to meet benchmarks and give incentives for our students to enjoy school. I have sent all 3 or my students to Memorial and could not have selected a better environment for my children.
