I truly can’t say enough great things about Montessori Discovery School. My son has flourished there and it’s a testament to the warm and wonderful teachers that truly care about each individual child. My son has grown so much and looks forward to going to school every day.

We absolutely love MDS and are thrilled with my daughter's experience here. As a Montessori certified teacher, and a Montessori student myself, I was adamant that the school we chose would be welcoming, with experienced, kind staff, and have a true commitment to Montessori principles. I also, however, needed the school to be a good fit for my daughter-an incredibly smart, independent, and wonderful child, but one who had never been in a "formal" school or daycare setting before. Her transition was wonderful, although not without a few bumps; bumps the teachers helped her through with ease and care. The teachers here are incredible, the environment is perfectly curated to meet the needs of the students, and our experience here has been 11/10. My daughter asked to go to school EVERY day of winter break-she loves this place as much as we do! They have created a safe, loving environment where my daughter feels comfortable learning and taking risks. Her social, emotional, and academic growth so far this year (her first year) are beyond words. Cannot endorse this place enough!

This is an exceptional school with outstanding teachers. Our son absolutely loves attending here. We have seen his growth over the three years he has been a Montessori student. Not only does this school attend to the learning needs of the child, but they tailor their approach to the individual student, with an emphasis on kindness and contributing to a community. We love that the kids have "jobs" to do each week. It gives them a sense of ownership of the classroom and collaboration with the other kids based on what job they are doing. Each Monday he gets excited about going back to school and bringing home a new book for the week that he is allowed to "check out". Highly recommend this group!!!

Excellent environment for parents looking to give their kids an individualized Montessori educational experience. The Director is intentional about finding the situation that works best for your child’s unique needs. The philosophies of a Montessori education are ideal for parents looking to nurture individuality and curiosity in learning. Highly recommend!

Montessori Discovery School is a dream come true. I have two small boys with very different personalities, strengths, and weaknesses who are both thriving in this wonderful school. The teachers and director maintain a nurturing atmosphere where children choose their own work (using Montessori materials), while still receiving guidance. The expectation that they will respect each other and their school is clear, and fosters independence and responsibility. The classroom hums with the most orderly excitement imaginable for a room full of 3-6 yr olds. My kids love school so much that they started requesting "school days" in mid-July. Communication between the school and parents is excellent. It is obvious that everyone that works there very much cares about and understands children. I am so happy we found MDS, and would give it the highest recommendation.

I chose MDS after my eldest daughter was having a bad experience at another preschool. Within a few weeks, my daughter was happy to be attending school again, and simply flourished in the Montessori environment. She attended the school for 3 years. My son is enrolled in Kindergarten next year, and our youngest is will go there in 2013. This is a great school. The art, music and gym programs are fantastic. Considering we have 4 children, I have 7 years of experience here. Before we are done there, my kids will have attended the school for 11 years!

We chose MDS after much research, careful consideration, and multiple visits to several different schools. Our little girl was at first shy and reserved, ahead in some areas but behind in others. At MDS, she bloomed like a flower after a summer rain. She was encouraged without being pushed, and allowed freedom to grow and express herself without being stifled. The staff members are true professionals, and, without exception, clearly love the work they do so well. The teachers at MDS form relationships with families that are based on communication and caring, always focusing on the child's well-being, and including parents as a true part of the team. Class size is small enough to allow individual needs to be met, yet there is also a great diversity among the students. The curriculum is rich, yet age-appropriate and with many unique ideas. Finally, the atmosphere nurtures the child, and the child's love of learning. It is a wonderful place!
