We moved to the Syracuse area 3 years ago from downstate. As we debated potential schools for our two children entering high school, MPH clearly stood out. We were impressed by the education standards, small classroom size, and the ability to challenge our kids. We also found MPH to be one of the most diverse schools in the Syracuse area which was very important given we were coming from a very diverse city and wanted to ensure that our kids continued to receive this type of exposure. three years later, I cannot be happier with our choice. MPH has been hands down the right choice for our family. The academics are stellar, with access to extracurricular activities and teachers that actually care deeply about each and every student. With a Senior this year, we also have first-hand experience working with the College Counselor - Will. He really cares about each student and works diligently to ensure that each student is presented in the best light. College counseling services begin at the end of Freshman year and continue to build throughout high school. The hour+ sit-downs with him were extremely helpful and the interviews he conducts with each student to guide them are invaluable. This is the type of experience that is not found at other schools in Syracuse.

Graduated from here in 2009. I became a great writer because of Manlius Pebble Hill and developed a great appreciation for science because of the teachers at this school. The biggest asset of education from MPH is the ability of graduates (and current students) to think critically and independently when needed, at such a young age. This is one of the best college prep schools in the state, and that says a lot considering the caliber of schools in the New York City area that cost 2-3x the price.

Our kids have been there since kindergarten and have had a great experience. Character/social education, learning strategies, and presentation skills are all integral to the classroom experience. Small class sizes allow for dynamic, interactive learning. The teachers feel like close personal friends who watch over your kids during the day.

This school has transformed. Y daughter's life. Always a good student, but when she transferred in for 6th grade, she turned into a kid who LOVES school. Now in 9th grade, she is involved in such a wide range of learning experiences. She wants to be at school by 7am and stay there until it closes in the evening. Great teachers, leaders and peers. Best choice I ever made as a parent was to move her yo MPH.

Our daughter joined her junior year. She was an A student before she came, but since MPH she applies and loves how knowledge is taught from THE BEST teachers who are THERE for each and every student! Her writing comes with ease after just the first year! STRONG writing program brought dramatic results to her. The students couldn't be more accepting of each other! Before MPH, I thought teens had lost all respect for each other and learning, but it's alive at MPH! There is NO BULLYING! Many classes have hands on examples and students become adept at speaking confidently in class. The music, music theory, dance, and Variety of classes (ex: forensics, physics at various levels and languages) provide stimulating classes taught by enthusiastic teachers! I only wish I had her here so much sooner! We drive from Ithaca! MPH IS WORTH THE TRIP!
