I agree with another person's comments about Jonna Johnson. She is a really good principal and has a very difficult task of trying to please a lot of different stakeholders while ensuring that children of all diverse backgrounds and learning levels are obtaining the best education they can receive in this day in age. She is also constantly trying to find better ways of engaging with all of the stakeholders, notably the parents and teachers. This is what you need with an elementary school principal. I really can't imagine what any given day is like for her given what she has to juggle. She is also lucky to have a good staff to support her and the children.

We moved to Mott Road when my one son was in 2nd grade in 2014. The teachers he had were awesome. My only wish is 5th grade was middle school and he wasn't at Mott. My second son started kindergarten there. Unfortunately his teacher wasn't very nice and yelled a lot. I was glad to see she was moved to a part time position the following year. Since Jonna Johnson took over as principal the school only got better and better. Excellent school and excellent staff!!

I am a teacher myself and two of my children have attended Mott Road within the last six years. I have been very impressed with everyone I've come in contact with. Highly dedicated and professional faculty.
