We have been pretty happy at this school, but I'm always surprised at how unfriendly the front office staff is. No smile when you walk in or even a hello. You feel like you are interrupting them anytime you come into the front office. I know I am not the only one that has noticed this. I'm not at the school often, but they have even gossiped about other people in front of me. Just seems very unprofessional.

My Child has been assisting to Level Creek Elementary since kindergarten. We are absolutely satisfied with the level of professionalism the school is being run. The teacher are experienced and receive constant training, they always seem eager to reach the next level, and the kids are treater excellent while being encouraged to unlock their full potential. The kids are exposed to a wide variety of resources not available in other public schools, thanks to the care the school puts into maintaining their resources and constantly adding new ones, as well as the generosity of the parent who collaborate greatly with any of the schools needs and programs. The school also creates a very family-oriented environment by organizing several yearly event providing opportunity to networking with other parents and getting involved.

Coming from an older school in Lawrenceville this school is shiny and new for lack of better words. It’s pretty. However the education lacks the student to teacher ratio is 24:1 our child can’t get the education and assistance they need when asking questions. When we let administrators know child does not do well with change. At face front the administrators seemed understanding and genuine. However after weeks of being at the new school our child has not been welcomed by peers and cry’s when he comes home that he doesn’t like this school, the students are mean, and he doesn’t feel the teachers listen to him.

As my 2nd child ages out of LCES, I feel compelled to share my experience. There aren't words to explain how grateful I am to have had my children attend this school. The staff, administration, and teachers are extraordinary! The principal is an outstanding leader and also very kind and approachable (for kids and parents). My son loved his high-fives at car rider and in the hallways. The quality of teachers is also phenomenal. Each one has been patient, hard-working, and dedicated to quality education. The PTA goes above and beyond the call of duty to support the school through volunteer hours and fundraising. Honestly, the overwhelming sense gratitude I feel has moved me to tears on numerous occasions. Thank you!!!

This is an outstanding school. They seem like a grade level above where we came from. They accelerated my kids up to speed without too much pain. The kids in this school are generally high-performing and the neighborhoods are high-income. It is the quality of elite private. The principal worked out an issue with me so well I could hardly believe it.

Superb. Excellent. Great school. Caveat is the number of students increased rapidly and there are too many students. However that substantiates how good this school is. Lots of people tries to move into this area because of the school.

We like everything about this school, but every year my child is in a classroom with over 27 kids and it gets split up. Even after splitting up the classes they are still at 27. We fell there is noway a child could get the attention they need.

We moved here because Level Creek was supposed to be excellent. What a mistake. The administration is amazingly subpar, all of them. Although, the one thing the admin is good for is paperwork. They love that. Our children came from a very small, loving school in the Northeast where the whole child mattered. At LCES there are 27 children in one class, with ONE teacher. And the only thing that matters to them are test scores, mostly the math ones. They get tested quite a bit. If you have children who have special needs (they completed dropped the ball on a reading issue), are sensory sensitive, need more than 10 minutes a day of recess, shouldn't get food as a reward, need to be challenged or kids who are able to go outside under 40 degree weather, then this school is NOT FOR YOU. It's so sad that the ratings are all based on an academic scores. Elementary school children need to move A LOT, learn to socialize, go outside, have time to eat in a civilized way and manner, and they need to be respected. This school fails on all of those counts. Please consider this carefully before you commit to living in this area. Save your money on the housing and go to private schools like we should have done.

The teachers at this school are fantastic! My children have had different teachers in each grade level and all have helped my children grow. We are thankful for moving here. It is no wonder houses sell so quickly here.

My son had some issues with some subjects. The teachers, Ms. Turner and Ms. Fenwick, Dr. Morris and Ms. Dean got together with me to see how they could best help my son. They pieced together that his primary problem was attitude. They developed a path to help him help himself in a positive way. I was at a loss as to how to help him and these school professionals, who love children and love their job came together and spent time making a plan to help him. Their love of children became incredibly clear through this process. My son now has positive skills that he can employ for the rest of his life!!! These life skills are more important than anything he will learn in the subject matter. I have raised 3 other children to adulthood and experienced many different schools excellent schools both public and private. Level Creek Elementary stands out because positive attitude and loving way that they helped this child jump a life hurdle. Kudos to the teachers, staff and administration of Level creek Elementary.

If you have a child with special needs and he/she is not on autism spectrum, they do not know how to accommodate them. They have a one size fits all approach. Even if you are actively involved and give them your feedback on how to help your child, they ignore your recommendations. You have to make sure that they follow the IEP because teachers will push back on things they disagree with or are not convenient for them and their classroom setup. The administration often spoke to me with a condescending tone. For my children who do not have special needs, I would rate our experience with the school higher. Most of the teachers, both general ed and special ed, are wonderful to work with. There are a few that are not..

Like most schools nowadays, the focus seems to be on ensuring students pass the standardized tests- that's it! One area the school needs to focus on is DIVERSITY. It takes a one size fits all approach in addressing needs of students with very little regard for differences in learning style. The principal is very superficial in his handling of important issues, and students with special needs need not apply unless you (the parents) are willing to roll up your sleeves and direct the faculty/staff on how to help your child. My son liked most of his teachers, but there were a few who were not warm or welcoming. An insurmountable amount of time is spent on test preparation- not so much on ensuring all students have an overall solid academic foundation. Very disappointing!

My son was at Level Creek for 4th and 5th grade and I am so grateful to the teachers and staff that worked above and beyond for our kids. The kids are given every opportunity to succeed, teachers come in early and stay late! I am a very involved parent and saw first hand their commitment. Gwinnett county really set the standard.

I can't express how amazing this school is. My son has been there for K-1st and now we're moving and I'm having a hard time looking at other schools in the wake of the high standard Level Creek has given us. The teachers are fantastic - Ms. Vogel in 1st grade is the utopia of an energetic, loving, above & beyond teacher. The office staff were helpful and high administration were regularly involved. Mr. H in music is everyone's favorite. I loved visiting the school and the amazing ways they helped my child grow.

Level Creek Elementary has done a great job of making clear what their expectations of the children are and holding them responsible for their actions/performance. They offer additional resources when needed and even have expectations for the parents in regard to support for the children to be successful. This is the direction that public schools need to take to teach children how to be successful. They do a nice job of challenging the children and not coddling them. My second grader started there this year and has really enjoyed being empowered and held responsible for her work. GO FIGURE!
