This school is a great school and even though I haven’t been in this school for long, I know that this school is improving, it was a great time to be in this school while the teachers were nice and teach nicely. In the classrooms it was quite loud and I would come in with some talking conversations but sometimes it would be really quiet. But despite all of that, it was a great time to be in Suwanee Elementary even though I haven’t gotten used to all this for such long times because I wasn’t here before. It was still a great school to go to though)

After 2 years (2nd and 3rd grades) I would say it is excellent. We transferred from private school and I was shocked at the difference especially since I always believed in private schools. This school is so much ahead and really engaged with their needs. I’m impressed.

Not Postive. Personal experience overrating in the case. Total disregard for students as an individual !!! MORE focused on the masses. TOO many fake WAVES and SMILESEACH STUDENT MATTERS

I had a very horrible experience at this school to a point where I am still in the process of suing them

We finally have an awesome principal who genuinely cares about this school. I have been very pleased with the teachers in our three years of going here. The last two years were a bit rough with respect to the administration, but now that has changed and changed for the better! My only recommendation is to not increase class sizes. It is a large school and currently my kids are getting the attention they need. I have one child with an IEP and that process seems to be working well. I definitely recommend Suwanee Elementary if you are comparing nearby schools.

I had heard excellent things about the special ed. program at this school. It is a huge disappointment. I have had to fight the entire year for them to follow my child's IEP (legally required). There is lack of communication at all levels. Feel as if the staff is encouraged not to communicate with parents. Even when asked numerous times for communication, nothing. Got to the point my emails were not answered. Had to take it to the county. It has been a horrible year. If this was my home school, I would definitely look into moving or doing a permissive transfer. They want to do the minimum required for the special needs students and hope the parents don't know what's on their child's IEP.

Suwanee Elementary has been a fantastic environment for all three of our children. We're especially excited about the positive changes the new principal has put into place. The school is a nurturing but academically focused place. Mr. Singleton and Mrs. Stagman have developed great reputations as all star teachers. Really all the teachers at Suwanee Elem are dedicated and on top of their game. We couldn't be happier!

The last posting was not an accurate representation of the ES overall. The previous principal was VERY unresponsive and was not interested in sharing information with parents. Yes there are a few teachers at this school who need more training, just like every other school. But, ...... HOWEVER!, the new principal is winning parents over by leaps and bounds. Get involved in the PTA or at least visit their website. They are bringing technology into the schools, she is monitoring which teachers are using the science labs and other "extras" at the school. The new principal has listened and is still listening to what parents have to say. This school is definately on it's way UP!!!

School has gone downhill. Very unfriendly atmosphere. I hope that the new adminstration will be able to turn things around, because the previous Dr. Smith did not return emails or calls.

Wonderful school -- my daughter has been attending Suwanee ES for 3 years now. They keep the students challenged and makes them eager to learn. Great teachers include Ms. Etheredge and Ms. Leo.

Both of my children attending this school and it has been an excellent experience. The teachers challenge the kids. My oldest child goes to Middle school this year and each year she has had excellent teachers.
