My two children have had great experiences at Woodland! They both had a first grade teacher that awarded marbles and "pennies" for good behavior and I found it a positive way to encourage students as well as educate them on money. They made great strides in reading during 1st grade and had fun doing so. Well done to all the teachers at Woodland!

The first grade teacher that my child had was absolutely terrible. She constantly had her cell phone in hand during class, showed the children movies and YouTube videos excessively, and seemed reliant on stickers, pennies, "marble parties" and extra recesses to keep her kids in line. Administration sided with the teacher, naturally. Very weak leadership and abominable teaching!

Not a fan of the main office turnover this year so far. Last week the secretary moved to another school, this week we get a letter from the principal that she'll be gone after tomorrow. New "interim" principal starting Monday. Current principal only started at Woodland this year after long time Principal Milford retired.

I'm not a fan of public schools but Woodland is excellent!!! My children are currently attending and the staff is amazing! I wouldn't have it any other way!!
