The current administration is very "woke" and full of soft bigotry of low expectation toward certain identity groups. Turned our straight A student into straight F's. Continuous danger of violence toward certain identity groups. This institution is currently failing, as you can see by its rating and comments from other concerned parents.

This school has some really great teachers that teach here. The food is alright, and overall, it's a good-ish school. Sure, you can make some really great friends here, most of the students here are very nice. But there are many students here that aren't so nice. And when I reported to one of the teachers that my friend with a disability was getting bullied, the teacher simply didn't care. I dislike it when I walk into the bathroom and there's a cloud of smoke, or I walk into an inappropriate scene because a school shouldn't have that sort of thing. But thankfully the principal has tried to "fix" the issue with the students. But all he's done really is just ask them not to anymore. The counselors seem nice at first, but then all they do is nothing that's actually helpful. (In my personal experience.) But, this isn't the same as for all the teachers, most of them are very kind, friendly, and genuinely care about their job. But a lot of the eighth-graders aren't nice though. But I would recommend it if you're in the 6th or 7th grade. Because then again most of the people here are really nice and helpful. And the teaching methods they used I found to be extremely helpful, and useful. They go at a pace that helps me. Especially since I have some things mentally wrong with me, I find them to be extremely useful, and helpful. They also don't give too much homework, which is nice.

Highly disappointed with administrators who suggested I home school my child who has had many absences d/t chronic illness. No summer school is even available unless he’s failing core classes. School work he’s brought home is full of grammatical errors & ambiguity. One PART TIME guidance counselor for the entire school. Bullying isn’t addressed or investigated. My son is miserable so we’re moving out of Kent.
