I really don’t like their service! Because I send my 3 year old son this daycare ; with in 3 weeks he failed down twice and scratched his face and chest! They said we will potty train but they didn’t do! Ever day when he come back home his diaper! Even I send launch and milk but they didn’t give him even they didn’t touching it! They focus only business!

I have searched the Stone Mountain area high and low for a good quality school with dedicated teachers. Having been in education I knew exactly what to look for. When I toured this school I was very pleased with the staff. They were all pleasant and willing to answer every question I had. After coming several times we were always greeted with kindness. We are utilizing summer camp at St. Timothy and plan to start private pre k this fall. I have had the opportunity to meet several school teachers. The teachers at this school are all sweet tempered and caring to all students. I cannot wait to start the school year at St. Timothy and glad we made a decision to start at St. Timothy. The school has been around for years and it still looks great inside. That shows that money is put back into the school. Not to mention the staff has very low turnover. Turnover and ratio is important when considering schools. I would recommend this school to any parent.

My husband and I Love St. Timothy's! No one has ever been rude and our "Nickle and Dimes" have been well worth it! Our children learn a lot and they love going to school and their teachers. They keep us well informed even more so because we are always asking, they tell us where they should be for their age and where they are individually! That would have been mentioned if you attended an Open House/PTSF Meeting. You are the best and sometimes the only advocate for your child and if you feel like your child is not where they should be or even are capable of being then something should be done immediately!!!!!! I feel confidant in knowing that when my children go on to attend the next institution of learning that they will be on the proper grade/skill level! Thank you St. Timothy's for all you have done for My Children!!

We are extremely satisfied with the quality of education at STS. Our daughter is in the pre-K program and will continue attending until she reaches the 5th grade. Our son, who is two years behind her, will soon attend. The student body is diverse and the climate is inclusive. The students are given ample opportunity to participate in afterschool and summer activities, such as chess, ballet, and an environmental club. STS offers more than just Parent-Teacher-Student meetings--they also offer "Family Fun Nights," which are engaging and fun. My husband and I are delighted with STS, and we openly encourage others to consider this wonderful (and affordable) opportunity!

Thank you for this opportunity to respond to the concerns that were expressed at GreatSchools.org: Some St. Timothy School fees are separate due to the fact we don t charge parents for services that they may not need for their children. Therefore, some fees, such as Before and After care, are separate. However, St. Timothy School is considering consolidating other fees, like field trip charges, for next school year. St. Timothy School s reputation is that children leaving here transition well and excel, taking with them leadership skills, pride, and a work ethic. We hear quite often from alumni parents who tell us that their children are doing well. They also share the positive comments from their children s middle school teachers. Our curriculum is quite comparable to other area schools, in fact using some of the same publishers. The affordable education your child gets at St. Timothy is indeed on par with other reputable schools. Apologies are in order if any personnel have been rude, but you won t find teachers more dedicated and loved by their students anywhere. St. Timothy School did not have to get rid of the sixth grade; the school board and administration chose, after careful thought and consideration, to discontinue sixth grade because it was a middle school grade in an elementary and preschool setting. Sixth grade had a brief, but special lifespan of five years at St. Timothy and graduates transitioned well, so it was disappointing news to the parents of rising 6th graders that year. Thank you.

I am a St Timothy parent and I could not be happier. As for the nickle & dime comments. This is a PRIVATE school. The fees are actually lower than average when compared to other private schools. Even public schools charge for lunch and before/ after school child care. Most schools, including public school, now require parent volunteer hours. The Director / Principal at St Timothy is not someone that I would EVER characterize as Rude and the teachers challenge students to be respectful, and to meet their best potential. My research has indicated that St Timothy students do well when they transfer or graduate on to other schools. I agree with the 6th grade being eliminated to focus on Pre-School and K-5, Primary ages only. Fees are POSTED for review on the school website. Take a tour & please do your research to get the REAL story on the school.

As previously stated by other parents, this school will nickel and dime you. My child attended here for 4years and when he transfered to another private school he was so far behind. This also has been true for children transfering to public schools as well. The curriculum is not up to par. For the money that you spend at this school your child should be above standard. My child made all good grades at this school but it meant nothing when the curriculum wasn't up to standard. Kindergarten and first grade teachers are excellent and they set the bar. The principal and others are rude to the students and parents. There is a reason why they had to get rid of 6th grade and now it only goes up to 5th.

I love St. Timothy because of it's strong academics and nuturing environment. Both my children, though very different have thrived here! It is a great place!

They do not tell you the real cost. The teachers are great, but with all those hidden fees, not worth it .....ex. regular tuition...then before care, then after care, then lunch, extra days and late fees
