Some teachers don't post class syllabi and are not responsive to questions from parents about their childs homework. This is unacceptable and a detriment to students' success. This means its harder to know what to do to make sure your child is staying on track. As a parent, you wont be able to stay informed of what your child is learning. For some students, this could hurt their performance. I dont know if its a lot of teachers behaving like this or a few. But this should be basic, mandatory practice for all teachers. Post your syllabi, respond to parents. Pretend to actually care about the success of your students. I hope they improve, but until then I DO NOT recommend this school.

My daughter has been going here and she enjoyed it from the start. The teachers are caring, especially the counseling staff. She fell chronically ill and had trouble keeping up with the school but her counselor helped with all the accommodations and was a delight about it. So happy to have a staff that cares about my daughter in a rough time.

Redan High School is an pretty decent school . The teachers are there to help push you and see you do your best. Yes, you will have some teachers you can't stand but most of them are there to help you succeed. Redan has the best band in the state of GA (fact), and the amount of school pride is absurd (in a good way). The only things that are holding Redan from a 4/5 star (imo) are the fact that they really don't prepare you for college, the tardy policy (which is horrible), the bathroom policy, funding (which mainly goes into sports), and the amount of wannabe's in this school. The amount of wannabe gangbangers in this school is beyond me, kids are smoking/vaping in the bathrooms constantly, there are wanna be gang bangers at the school who post real guns on their social media like their trying to threaten somebody, and there is a constant flow of fights between "gangs". Other than that all you have to do is mind your business and hang around the right crowd.

The teachers and staff take their time with the kids. I wish there was more funding for the school, because they have potential to be great. Staff are fair, and attentive

Redan High School is a joy, it’s a very productive school. It’s very advertised in so many ways ...I’d send my children there

Not happy at all but thank God I'm a parent that stays involved and goes beyond to make sure that my child has what they need to succeed. PTSA sucks because they make you pay for membership to vote on issues. Something I've never heard of before. Not pleased at all. Just can't wait until my child graduates but do know I will make sure that he succeeds.

Overall the school was a great school. They offer several programs such as AP courses and joint enrollment courses that allow students to prepare for college. Many students from my graduating class have gone on to have successful professional careers and achieve multiple degrees from top schools.

Redab High School is a great school .They just need to get rid of the students that are not interested in learning .

I didn't have a good feeling about this school when I went to register my son here. My suspicions were conformed when my son was jumped by 3 boys at his school. The people at the front office were rude and clearly staff members are only there for a paycheck! Redan High School doesn't have to worry about my son returning to this school and my 2 other children will never attend that school or any other school in the state of Georgia!
