The administration, faculty, and staff are very phony. This has happened for quite some time for years and years.

From Registration to the escort of my new student, my experience here was awesome. Even my son spoke about it. I have to admit after reading the reviews I was afraid to enroll my son in Redan Middle. Since this is our home school we really didn't have a choice and it was been a Great experience ever since. We are involved parents and we work with the teachers and staff on our sons education. Maybe thats the difference. Parents get involved and Stay involved it will make a difference in your kids school life.

Your principal is very disrespectful towards parents especially woman. They are very crooked. A lot of bad things happen there and they keep it in house. They keep a lot from the parents. I feel sorry for the new students there now. Some of the teacher's are good. But they don't have a voice and if you speak out you will be penalized. I will never forget my experience there and the way they treated my son who was in special education.

Please replace the principal Dr. Mason. Unbelievable that he calls himself an educator. Parents should not have to feel patronized when bringing up concerns. Anything mentioned from the huge pothole in front of the school to genuine issues with teachers seem to be treated with very little respect.

I was disappointed with the gifted program. Nothing was challenging or innovative, just worksheets and book work. Also, communication protocols should be reviewed during every staff meeting as it is severely absent.

For the parents who wrote the previous reviews... Too be honest maybe if you guys volunteered a lot of the things you are complaining about half of it wouldn't happend if we're true...Communication with staff for me is excellent. I currently have 3 students who attend Redan .Staff is awesome and very Helpful...My children will be returning next year for 2014-2015 year... Also PTA is helpful as well if you sign up then you will have more input. ..Sounds like you guys leave it up too teachers to take care of your children 100% ,this is not a daycare. ...p.s.. first parent maybe if you get your child a book bag you wouldn't. Complain about them carrying books for 3 periods....I hope this. Was helpful too the parents who are considering Redan Middle...

I am a parent and I would like to say Redan MIddle School is the worst school I have ever seen. There new principal Dr. Mason is very non supportive. I sent my kid a voice recorder to school cause she said that the teachers yell at her. So she brought me the recorder the next day and she was right. The teachers are yelling at these kids like they 50 years old. So my point is DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. trust me you do not want to send your child to this school. On a scale of 1 to 100 I give this school a 1.
