Eastview is a strict school that has been through a lot in its years. In its life due to the economy, it had to reduce classes and teachers. Due to a certain illness, the school has lost a student. but it still stands strong with there special ed classes there free bus services and and teachers that get to each student so they wont fail. the the writer below knows none of this but i know for i care. Dont ask anyone who has not worked their or schooled there how the school is. For they don't know. i just know that the school is the best elementary school in and around Steger thank you for reading.

I originally was very impressed with Eastview. Now I am very disappointed. My child's 2ng grade class has 27 children. The 2nd grade was the first to be choosen to be downsized from 3 classes to 2 classes. I don't think the children are challenged to learn as much as they could learn & the teachers are overworked. Now I hear that third grade will be only 2 classes. I continue to inform teachers I am willing to volunteer but they did not utilize me. Very disappointing.
