Teachers are good, admin is rigid, not enough is done to help kids that are smart excel, they are held back at the pace of the lowest kids. I moved and the difference in the way my son acts and doe his homework and attitude twords school is night and day. As much as I liked this school, I see so many more flaws since I moved away

Crete Elementary is a fantastic school. I'm sorry everyone feels the need to give negative ratings because your child has too much homework. You have a child, you have a commitment to work with them.

Its hard keeping up with work cooking etc for my family of 6 then to spend hours and hours on a packet as thick as the bible is tiring !!!! Some of the teachers (staff)treat some students with inequality

My daughter started Kindergarten this year at crete elementary and we love it. She was already smart and had learned alot in pre-k. However, her teacher Ms. Chavez is great. She has learned so much more and still continues to learn. There is alot of homework, but the homework is basically to reinterate what they have learned in class, to make sure that they understand it and to give them time to practice the material. From reading some of the reviews....it seems that some parents don't like all of the homework, but when you see the reward that comes from........your child coming home and reading a whole book to you in a matter of 5 months and knowing basic math , without needing assistance.......I can say I definitely appreciate the school and the teachers there......keep up the good work.......
