    FANTASTIC school with wonderful teachers and beautiful building. Couldn't imagine any place better for my little one to start school.

    This is an amazing school. The staff are wonderful and although there are a lot of students you still get a family feel. I loved that they separated out kindergarten and first grade which keeps the young ones from picking up some older kids influences. The only down side was that the class time was too short for kindergarten. They still learned heaps but it was very dependent on parent involvement to support that learning at home. We easily spent 1 hour a night doing homework. I would also highly recommend the YMCA program for before and after care they also did a wonderful job of supporting learning with their own classes and also had the added benefit of being in the same building as the school. What I can tell you is that by the end of kindergarten my daughter was reading and writing proficiently. I found SLC to be a great facility with great administrators. Highly recommend it.

    Great idea separating out K and 1st grade, let them stay young a little longer! A green school with state of the art technology, we are so thankful for the SLC! They believe every K/1 student can read, and after 1.2 years with them, my 1st grader is at a 3rd grade level in reading and math!
