Springfield, while much better than other schools in Delaware county, is hopping right aboard to "woke" train. Teachers are asking children for their pronouns the first day of school, talking to children about social justice and sharing inappropriate topics such as their sexual preferences and their past abusive relationships. They are also hanging pride flags and "social justice" corners in the classrooms and removing them when parents come into the building. They have not been doing anything to create a good rapport with parents and have even been known to instruct teachers to keep important things from parents such as a child's gender identity.

I love how the special ed is included with their peers at this school. At my son's previous school IEP students were separated from everyone. At ETR he was in a regular classroom and treated like a"normal kid". I felt like this school addressed his IEP in both the social and academic aspects.

This school does a wonderful job of taking parent dependent elementary school children, and turns them into independent self sufficient young people. And they did it in just a few months. My daughter has become wonderfully confident in this safe environment. Homework used to be a battle, and now she comes home and attacks her assignments with glee. I am just amazed at how quickly and how much she is learning. This school is known as ETR.
