Absolutely loved Sabold for my child. Mr. Brigg is an amazing leader and there are so many GREAT teachers here. There are a few salty staff members at Sabold but nothing my child couldn't handle. Overall, my child's experience was fantastic. The work load was average. My only complaint - and this might unfortunately just be how schools are now - is homework is never checked! I mean, it's checked to make sure it's complete but it isn't graded. They go over it in school... so what's the point of doing it at home? Kids could just write nonsense on the paper and no one would ever know. Not sure if that's a school policy or a bit of laziness on the teacher's parts. This happened every year my child was in school and it really bothered me. That aside, I have no complaints. Teachers and principal are on top of everything going on. They do not tolerate and bullying or garbage from the students.

This school promotes social and academic growth. Every child is made to feel like an important part of the Sabold community. Great communication between staff and parents, home and school association is amazing and the Principal is always available for questions or concerns and addresses any problems that arise immediately.

Sabold is a good school with high test scores, good teacher/student ratio, and strong music and arts programs...With that being said I have to say the negative outweighs the positive. The downside to this school is of course a matter of opinion. First, children with special needs aren't helped to blend in with the other students, although they attend classes with them. They are singled out for their differences. My child is extremely advanced and bright, but was singled out as a "problem student" because of their inability to focus on a curriculum that couldn't keep up with their learning speed. I also was aghast at the amount of time spent on pointing out my child's faults when my child's test scores and grades were so high. I would also like to add that I have caught the office staff on more than one occasion rolling their eyes when they saw my child coming in the door! Finally I want to say that the principal is a rude and condescending person. On several interactions with the principal, I have felt like I wasn't taken seriously or that I was bothering her. She has even ignored my child when they tried to say hello to her in public! I will not send other children to this school.
