We loved the staff at Warder Park. We moved to a “better” district but are considering open enrollment back to Warder Park. It’s a great school and the teachers really care about the students.

I have three kids that attend this school and the only complaint I have is they hardly ever answer the phone. All three of my kids are doing better since going here and love their teachers this is the best school we've dealt with in the district, the principals always addresses any issues we have and unlike most teachers who just send students to the office when they act up these teachers take the time to talk to the student and call home to let the parents talk to them first. I have had the best experience with this school and wouldn't move away from their area for anything.

Teachers dont teach, just do the required to pass state testing. Most are over worked due to crowed classrooms with unruly students. School scores poorly on state testing, has been for 3/4 years. Very little parent involvement in classrooms and pto. Principal believes in the idea that "one bad apple spoils the bunch" which does not allow the good students to be rewarded. Bookfairs, festivals and after school programs are slowly becoming non existence due to no room or volunteers.

My children have been at this school for 4 years. I like some of the teachers, the principal and a few of the office staff. Since the secretary of 20+ yrs retired the office has fallen to pieces without her. Two of my children are doing poorly in math and they are still struggling. I honestly feel that this school which is understaffed and bursting at the seams with 525 students need a lot of help and cannot meet the expectations that parents want for their children. Hopefully we will be moving to another district, for my children's sake and my piece of mind that they are getting the best education possible. Avoid Springfield OH city schools if possible, there state score is below standard, over crowded and you're children deserve better. Also, as a Booster, parent volunteers lack in this school.
