My daughter is a type 1 diabetic and the nurse there is so amazing!!! We both love her so much and feel so blessed that she is my daughter along with the other students at Kenwood elementary school nurse!!! I have four kids the oldest being 17 and the youngest being 6 they all have only attended Kenwood there are times I have to address situations that I feel aren’t being handled properly but all in all I feel like it gets the same reviews as the other schools. And the two kids that have aged out of Kenwood so far have remained honor students so I’m satisfied!

So far, very positive. We just transferred in from another state, so the experience has been limited but students are treated with respect and that, in turn, teaches the children to respond in kind.

While most of the teachers are great at their job and try their best to teach, they are limited by a bureaucracy that is so worried they will damage a kids self esteem that the kids are allowed to act like little hoodlums. They're not even allowed to tell them to sit down and shut up when they are out of control!

My kids like Kenwood, but I do not. My son is on an IEP, and has not gotten the help he needs. His teacher is mean and picks on him all the time. I guess you will have that when a school has only a 2 star rating! So glad they will be going to another school next year!

The principle at Kenwood is not very professional nor does she care about the well being of the children.

My daughter loves Kenwood. I don't believe any school is perfect, but I believe most of the staff do there best. I appreciate the principal standing outside as the students are brought to school. To me it shows she cares. My daughter has only had one teacher that I wasn't impressed with, but she is getting good grades and seems to get the help she needs. Her dad and I are active in making sure she is getting the teaching she needs at school and at home. Some of her learning is up to us as parents. Thanks to all the staff at Kenwood.
