This is a terrible school. Bullying and sexual assault/harassment is rampant. I reported assault at least 3 times in my time at SHS and I was coerced by administration into not contacting the police. Even the school resource officers are awful. I can count on one hand the number of good teachers I had. The staff here needs to start caring about their students. It’s shocking that this school hasn’t been run into the ground yet.

In attending Springfield High School I was confident that I was receiving the best education possible from amazing teachers. The opportunities the students have at this facility are outstanding and like no other. Every type of student is represented here and is given the tools they need to succeed. Students who aren't feeling challenged must not be taking initiative or getting involved in any of the many classes and programs offered in this school. Said programs aren't available to the same magnitude in any of the surrounding schools. One example would be the IB Program. As a proud product of this program I feel that I was thoroughly challenged while being fully prepared for college. I found this school to be an excellent learning environment as well as a great place for kids to develop into tolerant members of a diverse community.

Springfield High School is horrible, it's unsafe, there is no discipline whatsoever re: the students, and their curriculum is inadequate. I pulled my daughter out of there once I realized that she was not being challenged, nor was she being prepared for college. Not to mention the inadequate disciplinary measures taken to protect the students. I can't believe they even scored a "2", to be completely honest!

This is a fabulous state of the art facility. Students are engaged in coursework as you walk the halls and peer in. Featuring an outstanding wide ranging course book, the high school is a very desirable place to be. I've been in many high schools. These guys are improving and getting the job done more each year. Springfield should come take a look - and be proud! Great stuff is happening here!

The Music program is amazing, the drill teams are also great, as well as the Sports program.

Parental involvement is very very poor, The students attitudes are generally very poor, The area is very low income and the city just really does not care. My son did very well at this school, His grades were great but that is because the school work was not at all up to par with the rest of the schools in ohio..
