I have been involved with NCA for many years and in many roles... parent, worker, and volunteer. NCA is an amazing place full of people who show God's love moment by moment. The teachers love their students so much and the administration works very hard to make it a safe place where students can thrive, academically, socially AND spiritually. It's like a family atmosphere where everyone is a part no matter how young or old. I am so thankful there is a place like this in the area where families can have a choice in their education.

We have been at NCA for 7 years and absolutely LOVE IT! It is the right fit for our family. From academic rigor to spiritual growth it has been great. NCA is a family of people who pour into students. Parents are expected to be involved, as they should be, with the academic and spiritual growth of their child. Students are held accountable for their academics and actions.

Bullying appears to be the norm at all grade levels. I saw it many times and never saw it addressed even though the teachers were right there. Talking to administration will get you nowhere. Don't expect to be on the 'in crowd'. There are definitely cliques. There are some good teachers, but some terrible ones. There is a ton of information given about things that don't matter that much (pajama days, spirit week, etc ) but very little that is pertinent to the individual student (how they are doing, what they are really learning, info on expectations, class rules, etc.) Parents are actively discouraged from asking questions. We were told we were the only ones with concerns when we knew from other parents that they had tried and failed to address concerns as well. While the kids learn a Bible verse each week, they are not getting that character modeled for them.

After having our kids at New Covenant for three years we saw more and more red flags coming up. Our one kid was way above grade level and for three years learned absolutely nothing. They apparently couldn't and didn't do anything for her. Our family saw public shaming in the classroom, teachers making fun of students, the principal yelling at students, kids bullying other kids with teachers doing nothing to stop it and telling the kids to 'deal with it'. One of my kids said they were so terrified to do something wrong and get called out in public that they were not able to concentrate on their lessons. The administration is not interested in feedback. There isn't any parental partnership. The administration told us that it is a take the school as it is or leave it; they don't want parents input. The administration also said that they couldn't commit to an actual excellent education. It is better than public school, but that is all they could promise. So their taglines of 'academic excellence' and 'parental partnership' are false of their own admitting. They do teach Christian Bible verses and lessons but we saw a complete lack of Christian character in action. It was disheartening. We are moving on to another school this year. If you send your child here, pay close attention. Especially if they are young. It took our kids awhile to speak up about their experiences because they thought it was 'normal' and ' the teachers know what is best'.

We have two kids in elementary school. NCA is a wonderful school, not only because of the Christian beliefs, but also because they teach values, morals, and their education system is fantastic. All the teachers we've had, beginning with Jr. Kindergarten, are amazing. They are great at communicating with parents when something is needed or if there are concerns. Education expectations are set clearly at the beginning of the year and reiterated periodically. During the year, the teachers are open to communication. They are responsive when questions are asked or when we need to work on something together with the student. The staff at all levels are professional, responsive, and friendly. Our children get tested several times a year and compared to the "national level" our kids are always well above average, and that is what we expect from the school. Our children participate in several intramural sports events that are offered throughout the year and they love it - another benefit of the school. Also, as far as parent / family engagement - there is plenty of opportunity to be involved! I love volunteering for different things, THAT is how I get to know the teachers, the families, the kids. The only thing on the rating I am not too familiar with would be the "special education", I know they work with kids that need a little extra help, but I do not think they are specialized to work with "special needs" kids. No school will be 100% perfect for everyone, but we love NCA! We are working hard so our kids can stay there until graduating high school. We strongly recommend this school.

I have two kids attending NCA and they both love coming to school everyday. The education they are receiving is amazing! We see friends who's kids are going to public school and our kids who are the same grade level are behind in learning things that my kids have already learned about are or are currently learning! I feel like the Bible knowledge my kids have already gotten is amazing! I am pretty sure they can carry on a pretty deep discussion of the Bible and they are only in elementary grades!

We have had two children graduate from New Covenant Academy, and they were very well prepared for college. We currently have two kids still at New Covenant, and we are very happy with our school. The academics are very strong but most importantly, the Bible is being taught and woven throughout all subjects as well as discipleship groups and chapel. NCA offers many extracurricular activities, such as sports, music, clubs, and academic activities, and NCA students always compete very well. The teachers are amazing, and our kids have grown and their faith and character throughout their time at NCA

If you child is not in the "in group" be prepared for them to be bullied constantly. The administration does not try to help or stop it.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with families and faculty members as well as observe the students for many years. I am continually impressed by the great learning atmosphere and the accomplishments of the students. The faculty, staff and leadership team truly care about the students. I have experienced NCA as a volunteer, a parent and as a staff member. If you are looking for a school to partner with in your child's education, I would highly recommend that you consider New Covenant Academy.

This school absolutely cannot accommodate gifted students, and the administration is more concerned about money than about the education of your children and relationships with families.

Very happy with the education and experience that our kids get at NCA. Wish that NCA would reduce its elementary school homework load, but otherwise we love the leadership and teachers of NCA. They truly care for our kids!

NCA is unapologetically Christian. Its standards academics are high. The commradery is good among students.

At New Covenant Academy there is a place for everyone. As a parent that loves to be involved there are opportunities everywhere. I love that I have the ability to use my talents to bless the school and it is welcomed. Many of the families have become great friends and are people our family enjoys doing life with. The teachers invest in their students and strive to create a comfortable learning environment. It is incredible the way the administration takes the time to know each student by name and are familiar with my children even though they are not in a classroom with them each day. It make my children truly feel special. The mission of academic excellence, bublical truth and Christlike character are demonstrated from the smallest preschooler to each staff member. It is an awesome feeling to know that my chidren are loved and prayed over each day in all they do and are taught in such a way that they want to be a light to His kingdom. It may be a financial sacrifice to attend New Covenant, but it is worth every penny to have children that love school and love growing in Christ. If you are interested in any way I would highly encourage you to check it out for your self!!

some of the worst years of my life. Please for the sake of your child please do not send them here. Unorganized, under-staffed, underpaid, under-funded, over-baring and overwhelmingly mind dulling. (Just speaking from personal experience)

I have experienced NCA as a parent, volunteer and employee and have found the environment to be an excellent atmosphere for students to learn and grow both academically and spiritually. The administration is great to work with and the teachers care about their student's success. There are great opportunities for academic competition, fine arts and sports. If you are looking for a truly GREAT SCHOOL, I suggest you call New Covenant Academy.

Our son has recently graduated from NCA after attending from K through 12th grade. We feel it has prepared him well for college, and aided greatly in his spiritual walk as a Christian. Our daughter is currently a student at NCA, and we trust she will have a similar experience.

As a current junior at New Covenant Academy, I can honestly say that I love it. The education is great, the students are friendly and genuine, and the staff is tremendous. I've never had more caring teachers. My classes this year are actually much larger than 5-7 students. In fact, my smallest class consists of 15. I've learned that learning in a smaller environment is much more effective than learning in a larger one, where it's more difficult for a single teacher to give every student the individual attention that their understanding may require. I know that when I have children of my own, I'd love for them to attend New Covenant Academy.
