My girls did great at HG. We thought the teachers and administration were great. They who academically in enjoyed school, sports and clubs.

This is school i DO NOT recommend.if your a girl i do recommend this school if your a girl have fun because every teacher will take your side you can do or say whatever you want and then you will be fine IF YOUR A BOY you will get targetted you wouldnt be able to do anything about it if you talk breathe or even laugh or giggle you get buddy room iss or oss yet the girls do it and nothing happens to them the principal is lazy and targets guys and if you try to stand up from your self they just ignore you the teachers are nice but some target guys and if u breathe they report it to the principal and the principal will call your parents and make it seem like you did something very bad but half the time you didnt do anything the sexist at this school should be fixed but it never will

This school does not provide enough help to students, and most of the bullying problems (which occur often in this school) are ignored.

This school has teachers that don't want to teach and prefer giving out answers and reusing test questions to actually teaching, and has a huge bully issue that no staff acknowledges or handles even when students report it.This school is garbage from start to finish.

Absolutely garbage school. Administration is strict, unnecessarily harsh with suspensions, and the teachers give little help to their students. Parents, find another middle school.

I think that this school is a pretty decent school. Most of the teachers are extremely nice and fun, but when there is a problem they aren't very good at doing anything about it. Also, there is a large amount of bullying. Besides that, the school is good at teaching and the activities there are very nice and interactive.

Lots of bullying but nothing was ever done about it. Teachers weren't very nice to kids with special needs either, I would often hear them get yelled at.

I absolutely love Hocker grove. I love the teachers. The students are hard workers. And the environment in general is very accepting. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone.

Horrible. I am so glad I have a well-rounded, nicely adjusted child who only had 2 years here. Unfortunately, I have another student that has to come here in a couple years. My hope is they get new leadership by then. The current principal is a disaster. They hired someone who was sued for body slamming a little girl at his last school in MO. I do not know a single parent who has had a good experience with him or the leadership team.

I came to HG in February and my experience was okay then when i started making friends and getting involved with things , I saw thus school was nothing but terrible. There are always something wrong with the bathrooms and the A/C . At lunch i tore off a piece of my burger to see if it was done and it was pink and raw. They give you days old food and a couple weeks ago . we had cheeseburgers every single day of the week . if youre child goes here , make sure they bring their lunch from home they dont open up to staff members especially the 7th grade counselor Mrs.Brents
