This is a great school. I have one child with mild autism and they have been doing great here for years - along with my other child on the normal spectrum. This school is a hidden gem - I believe it only has about 100 students and it is a great environment over all - I have no plans to send my kids to any other school until they age out of this one.

We are now a Pre-8 Montessori school :-) We have a garden and orchard and just opened a nature trail this year! Come check us out!!

My child attends the Middle Creek Montessori program at Shasta. We are lucky to have this option available to us free of charge. This school has had it's ups and downs, what school doesn't in the course of 150+ years of operation? Overall I'm pleased with the decision to send my child here.

This is a fantastic school. Its small and intimate. The Montessori teacher has excellent communication with us. Our daughter has really excelled in this environment and at Shady Oaks. She has learned to be independent, responsible, she has excelled in her math, English, science etc.

My kids both attend Shasta Union Elementary School and are a part of the Montessori program. The Montessori program is free (since this is a public school). I have been so pleased with the hands on learning that takes place. My kids actually enjoy going to school now!
