We moved to Seminole specifically so our child could attend Bauder Elementary, and I am so happy that we did! Bauder goes above and beyond in ensuring students’ academic success. The teachers are communicative and supportive and aren’t afraid to go the extra mile to make sure the kids achieve their full potential. My child has made wonderful friends and loves the staff and teachers! There is excellent communication from administration and leadership, and there are many engagement and enrichment activities for family and friends. I feel confident that my child is receiving the best possible education at Bauder Elementary.

Great school for both of my children. Seminole Middle and Seminole High school have also been great schools for my oldest. No issues, only positive over the past 10 years!!

I went to Bauder as a child and I was excited for my children to go to Bauder. I have been very pleased with the education my children did and are receiving. Yes I agree with other posts that some teachers need to retire and that Gifted needs a revamp. We had different gifted teacher last year who was excited about what she was teaching. There are some older teachers who are still great and some that need to retire. The principal changed a few years back and she is different than previous but she has brought some needed changes to the school. She takes the time to talk with kids when they are having a hard time as my daughter experienced first hand. She moved our school performances across the street at SHS which was needed as the turnout for performances are huge. My son really enjoys Mr. Baker (AP) because he says he is really big and funny and always says good morning to him at bus drop off. Bauder is a huge school with crazy car lines (better with new system) but I wouldn't enroll my children anywhere else.

Have been at Bauder for five years now, two children. We are now on a waitlist for another school as Bauders leadership has gone rogue.

My kids have gone here since kindergarten. Was the last year for my child thank goodness. School used to be absolutely wonderful. As the years progressed, it got worse. Teachers do not care. Only a select few do, and act like they actually want to be there. The majority of them need to retire and act as if the kids are a mere nuisance. The gifted program is a joke. That teacher should take lessons from the Seminole Middle teacher to understand how to run an enjoyable gifted class. My children dreaded gifted because of her and her ridiculous projects. It became a chore when, instead,it is supposed to enrich the mind. She also was always on her phone and didn't want to actually teach. Why not have class projects, rather than put this terrible burden on the parents and kids along with expense. Nothing enjoyable about this school anymore. It will continue to go downhill. Let's not forget the lunch lady who puts her bare feet up on the lunch table and makes the janitor put on a fan to air them out. The cafeteria is unclean as well as the rest of the school.

Most of the teachers have been wonderful. 3 out 12 were awful.

Wonderful staff. Great overall experience for my family. There is also a good mixture of ethnicity and income. I feel that is important for a child.

I could not be any happier with Bauder. We moved from St. Petersburg, FL so that my daughter could start kindergarten there and our younger son could eventually go there. My daughter is now in 2nd grade and is in the gifted program. She is reading and doing math at a 5th grade level. The teachers are phenomenal and encourage the kids to reach their fullest potential. The move to Seminole so my kids could be zoned for Bauder was the best decision I could have ever made. Principal Bultman is professional, caring and involved with all the students. You won't be disappointed!

We come from CT and we are so happy with Bauder! their open classrooms are new to us and my daughter loves it! The teachers are amazing and not only love what they do but they do it well! I highly recommend this school to any one who wants their child to get an incredible start to their long years of education!

I love this school! My first grader attends and we've loved both teachers. The school has an open floor plan so the children are trained from the beginning to respect others in nearby classrooms as they are in their own class or as they are passing by a class. The school offers once monthly clubs for the children to stay after and attend a club of their interest (cooking, arts/crafts, cup stacking, dance, and many more. Large school, but very organized. My child reads above her reading level and can do challenging math. I am a Social Worker who has been in many schools around Pinellas County, and having grown up here myself, I know area schools and Bauder is and amazing school!

The school has completely gone down hill with the new principal. My son has been bullied for two years there and it took me going to the board to get the problem resolved. Teachers used to be enthusiastic about teaching and now they don't care. The teachers try but there are major problems with the administration. I had one son go there for 3 years and my youngest son has been there for four years. Can't wait to move to get my son out of this school!

Our son is going into 4th grade and after 5 years at Bauder, I can't say enough good things about the teachers, staff and administration. They work hard to give each student exactly what they need from those who need additional help and support to those who need an extra challenge. The level of communication between school and home is really exceptional. With daily in-classroom notes from the teachers, regular newsletters, calendars and notices, as well as online access to student data and frequent mass-phone messages from the Principal we always know what's going on. They are helping us create a life-long learner and our son truly enjoys going to school each day.
