I'm a seminal high school graduate and it pains me now to see what the school has become. My grandchildren have gone here and the last one is now in her junior year. The staff plays favorites, they target children that aren't athletic or on the deans list. They don't care or treat all the students equally. It was bad last year and it looks like this year is going to be worse.

Nice neighborhood high school, good teachers and exceptional programs for students. Highly recommend.

Worst experience ever. Teachers are nice but, the higher administration is awful. I would steer clear of this school and staff. If you want your kids to be in a safe environment then, stay away from this high school. This school is a disappointment.

An average school, but they could've done a better job in maintaining cleanliness of the school. Teachers are great and the school has many resources when it comes to preparing students for college. The school lunch is just like any other school, underwhelming and basic. A big school, so that means a pretty intense walk. My freshman year my 6th and 7th period classes were on the two opposite sides of the school, each on the farthest side. Because of this, I was pretty much running to class in hopes of not getting a tardy, and out of breath once I reached my 7th period. Dress code is a problem that needs to be addressed and solved, just like any other high school. When it comes to drills the school has a clear, easy, and precise plan that students can follow with ease. The school has a problem with students tending to skip in between classes, they say they take it seriously, yet I see them not taking it seriously enough, resulting in a few students freely skipping.

My child has been very successful and will be graduating with a full A.A. degree his senior year. No issues with bullies in any of the Seminole schools since Bauder!!

The most disappointing thing about this school was the lack of response from the teachers, guidance counselor, social worker and principal when I requested meetings regarding my child’s progress and possible assistance. I sent emails, left telephone messages and then requested my child’s school records and report cards yet to no avail. The lack of student supports in improving student achievement was heartbreaking. This led to enrolling my child into a magnet program where education, purpose and excellence took on greater meaning. I do have one shout out for the football team. They may not have won a lot of games yet most of these players exhibited great character, kindness and a zest for learning. That was a delightful discovery in an otherwise impersonal environment that lacked positivity.

Our son had a great time at this school and made the best of it. As stated, he graduated in 2010 so not sure what has transpired since then.

Principal Lucas is making this school so much stronger and student centered. She's a powerhouse!

Awful. School continues to go down and no one cares about students, cleanliness there is a joke and maintenance is never done. Not to mention, even if you try to get help no one does

The school is what you make of it. The school is far to lax on attendance policies. However, there are many opportunities for students to take advanced courses.

glad I made it out they are so rude if they do not think you will give them money.you are nothing to them. it does not go into school it looks the same. i think they spent a few dollars on gym floor. compared to other schools you feel it when you walk in the doors. my student has lost many friends to suicide at this school due to the constant harassment of principles and they target students. very mean cruel school.lost over 600 students in 2 years the gig is up, follow the federal guidelines or we want a new Administration you failed us!!!! 600 students left over the past 2and 1/2 years?????????????????????????????????????????

Seminole high School is a great school. My daughter used to go there and had a wonderful experience. The teachers are very helpful and care for the students. There is also after school tutoring offered by the teachers to help give students individual attention and get that one on one time with the teacher.

Seminole High School is terrible! In this school students care less about there grades and more about who is dating who. Walking through these halls is no joy. There are people making out, fighting, and being loud. Judgement is a huge issue here. Sad to say, I have not met a real person at this school either. The people are fake, and intimidating each other all the time. Other than that everyone is talking about drama, or how terrible this school is, a teacher is, or there day. It is very negative, and unhealthy for everyone. From the faculty and other teachers you get to here there drama too. The faculty favorites there students also. And back to the students.. they put drugs in there lockers, girls kiss the mirrors with lipstick in the bathroom, etc. The school smells. Terrible. There is no spirit, every has there guards up at this school. And when your not there for the drama, you get to know about it through social networking sites. It's hard to see that the guys copy each other, and so do the girls. The lack of individuality is sad. For the cliques and friends, I recommend people outside of Seminole. Seminole is great for the college programs they offer, and there principal.
