I sincerely and highly appreciate the teachers who have worked hard to help my child, but feel the overall policies at the school don’t address the special needs of high functioning autism. It’s like he falls through the cracks because he’s “too normal” for special needs classes, but “too different” for general Ed classes, and it’s frustrating.

It's not my fault you don't have enough employees to run your bus routes. It is NOT acceptable to tell me I need to either walk or drive my special needs kids to school or "they will probably not get to school until around 8:30" 30 minutes AFTER school STARTS.

Mixed bag. The ESE head teachers, most ESE teaching assistants and Administration were easy to work with, polite and professional. One of the ESE teaching assistants and one of the Speech Therapists were unprofessional, sometimes rude and not very helpful. We are moving our kids to another school.

We left this school- my daughter attended for two years and then we left for private school. Asst principal lied to me about policy for treats . My son was to start kindergarten and I refuse to send him or my daughter to a school where the asst principal has no personal integrity. My son has a peanut allergy and she told me teaches don't treat with candy. We then tour the classrooms and teaches had test jars visible in desk- one filled with Reese's cups- PATHETIC liar!

I'm not satisfied with the school as of late and am looking to relocate them.

This school is awful! Do the research before doing your child a disservice and sending him to a D- rated school where they learn nothing, they are prejudiced, treat the kids like they are bad dogs, and have no respect for ANYONE! I cannot stress enough how horrible this school is.

This school was great when my son started, but now 2 yrs later he is only given one sheet of math homework a night. I have to supplement his education in the evenings at home with more work (writing, spelling & reading) to make sure he stays ahead. The teachers hands are being tied as to how they can teach. My son is struggling when last yr he made Honor Roll every quarter.

The asst. principles lack of apathy towards us was really telling about seffner elem. I will not send my son to a school when he is nothing but a number . This was our third and last year at seffner our son will attend private school. #overit

Awesome school. My daughter had a great teacher and a great experience here. The only drawback is the pick up line :).

Extremely happy with the school and feel it is a safe, nurturing environment. Teachers are good. Overall we feel like it is a good place for elementary education.

We are very happy with Seffner Elementary. School has high parent involvement which is a plus! Everyone we meet has been kind and helpful. This is our 1st year.

My child has had nothing but disappointments, bullying and teachers behaving badly at this school. The Assistant Principal acts as if she cares, but does not follow through with what she says she will do. It s awful, children are already mean to each other, then when you add in bullying from your own teacher....it just becomes ridiculous. It s sad to say it, but I think this school could benefit some much needed improvements, which they probably will never make.

Homework during FCAT week? Really??? Give them a break!! Aren't they under enough stress? "No homework" is the only relaxing perk to this week and its taken away from them?? You should be ashamed!!

I am a concerned grandparent in regards to my daughter. What are your guidelines regardinging parents being bullied by the principal. Is it acceptable to act condensending towards a parent in front of other parents on school grounds; and or to send threatening letters regarding parental rights? Is this your way of helping parents who need an guidance. To me, this is an over stepping boundaries and BULLING and to consider yourself above the bulling laws set place.

This is my daughter's 1st year at this school. She loves it and so do we. Her teacher Ms. Morris is awesome. They have many activities to get the kids interested in participating. Great school!!!
